'A great old hotel in the countryside. Spacious room and very clean refurbished bathroom. Nice and clean. Restaurant was value for money, and the breakfast was very good. The inhouse pub made evenings comfortable,and had free wifi. Due to lack of aircon room temperature was a bit hot (30 degrees Celsius) and fans provided could not cope with it. 'Was in town to go to the Tank Museum. Lovely property that was a 5 minute drive to the museum. There was an attached restaurant that was very reasonably priced and a nice continental breakfast that came with the room rate. The rooms were clean and functional. The doors were charming and opened with an old school key. For better or worse, the doors were also older wooden doors and not terribly good at keeping the outside noise out. '

'What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.'
