Not good parking
The staff was super helpful & nice. The breakfast was decent. The hotel itself desperately needs updated. The location is not the best. The worst part is the parking. Be prepared for a very steep entrance to the parking garage & having them park you in spots where you canā€™t even hardly get out of your car.

El baƱo no tiene ventilaciĆ³n lo que hace que se sienta el olor a encierro y humedad, eso no es agradable, el platito donde estaba el jabĆ³n estaba picado, eso denota bien poco cuidado en cambiar sus artĆ­culos cuando se deterioran, por lo demĆ”s la gente de la recepciĆ³n sĆŗper gentil, la habitaciĆ³n tenĆ­a buen tamaƱo y camas bastante cĆ³modas, el wifi era pĆ©simo

Nunca debĆ­ llegar
Una pĆ©sima experiencia, y se pudo evitar al tener comentarios mĆ”s realistas. Mal ahĆ­, ya que es viejo, hoy de mediano estĆ”ndar y al menos para la habitaciĆ³n estĆ”ndar publican informaciĆ³n falsa: -No posee aire acondicionado, si loza radiante y tiene problemas de ventilaciĆ³n, debĆ­ abrir la ventana. Es ruidoso -No posee ā€œbaƱera con duchaā€, solo ducha. -Mide con suerte 15 mt2, salvo que agreguen el baƱo. La habitaciĆ³n aparte de pequeƱa, tenĆ­a alfombrada la muralla que va detrĆ”s de la cama, hecho que encontrĆ© de pĆ©simo gusto, la ropa de cama de mediana calidad, almohadas viejas, y posee un cubrecama y cojines de una tela tipo arpillera cafĆ© oscuro que deja sensaciĆ³n de suciedad y polvo, igual que con la alfombra. Me sentĆ­ en un motel parejero. El techo del baƱo estaba descascarado, lo que denota escasa mantencion. Solo habĆ­a un juego de toallas, situaciĆ³n que advertĆ­ despuĆ©s de meterme a la ducha, por tanto debĆ­ compartir toalla con mi esposa, tanto cuesta tener dos toallas?. El desayuno fue lo Ćŗnico bueno, variado y buena calidad, pero definitivamente es un detalle mĆ­nimo y no volverĆ© nunca mĆ”s. Lo peor fue el estacionamiento, subterrĆ”neo con un acceso muy reducido, donde para entrar no ves hacia abajo y peor, para salir patinas a medio camino, ya que el cemento estĆ” pulido con el pasar de los vehĆ­culos, mi vehĆ­culo 4x2 patinĆ³ a medio camino, debiendo retroceder para volver a intentar salir, reciĆ©n pude salir al cuarto intento. Mi esposa quedĆ³ aterrada.

The staff was very helpful and was very patient with our lack of Spanish. The drive into the basement parking lot was extremely steep and quite narrow. Quite nerve wracking getting in and out. But the facilities were well taken care of and the location is near the town center

Nice location in downtown area. Good size room and staff very helpful. Buffet breakfast in the morning was very good with lots of selection between fruit, cereal, eggs, bread, buns, meat and cheese along with juice and coffee. Would stay there again if in the area. Parking for the rent a car was interesting as you had to go down a 45degree ramp under the building. Need speed to get out as I later found out.

La ubicacion es excelente, pero con el primer problema que nos encontramos fue el acceso al estacionamiento, demasiado estrecho y muy reducido en general de espacio. Respecto a la habitacion posee un buen tamaƱo, al igual que el baƱo, exceptuando que la ducha posee cortinas, algo que encuentro poco higienico. En relacion al desayuno, este es promedio, pero el lugar fisico donde se dispone para esto, es pequeƱo.

El lugar estĆ” ubicado en una zona cĆ©ntrica equidistante a comercios, shoppings, restaurantes, etc. El personal es muy amable. La habitaciĆ³n es normal, el tema es que la ropa blanca tenĆ­a olor a humedad y lo grave es que no cuenta con equipo de aire acondicionado. HacĆ­a mucho calor y nos proveyeron un ventilador para paliar la situaciĆ³n.

Nice hotel with nice price.
The hotel is located in the center of the city. Walking distance to the main plaza where most of business are surrounded. The hotel is very clean and safe. Breakfast is good with plenty options to choose. My only concern is the internet connection. During peak time in the evening the internet is slow. It is enough to check emails only.

Gutes, zentral gelegenes Stadthotel
Im Zentrum liegt das Hotel Alborada. Eine gesicherte, kostenfreie, gut erreichbare Parkgarage steht zur VerfĆ¼gung. Die Koffer wurden uns aufs Zimmer gebracht und das Check-In war freundlich. Das Zimmer, das wir fĆ¼r eine Nacht gebucht hatten, war gerƤumig; das Fenster ƶffnete sich zu einem Lichtschacht. Jedes Hotel hat aussen oder innen GerƤusche. Im Alborada hatten wir ein kontinuierliches Brummen, dessen Quelle unklar war. Das gute FrĆ¼hstĆ¼cksbĆ¼ffet wird in einem fensterlosen Raum serviert.

ok for a single night, no more
not located in a very nice part of the city, no one on site speaks a single work of english either during the dayshift or nightshift hotel was clean but not exceedingly so, wifi is iffy at best and night staff frankly looked like they had better things to do then actually working the reception

Well worth the price- would stay again
Overall the hotel was nice and great for the price. It was clean and very convenient to downtown Concepcion. Not every staff member spoke English, but there was always one on duty who did. The room was only setup for 1 person even though 2 were on the reservation, but they quickly brought us more towels, pillows, wine glasses when we asked with no problems. The young girl working the breakfast on Monday 14 January was so friendly and helpful. The mature woman on Tuesday and Wednesday was very rude however. Other than that one interaction it was all great.

Hotel is ok. Room was big but next to noisy smelly fan from kitchen. Had to ask on both nights for them to switch it off. They were unwilling to move me to a different room. Is in right downtown but there isnā€™t a lot of character there. Otherwise fine.

Although the hotel had a 24 hour advance notice for cancellations, our plane had mechanical issues, so we had to stay an extra night in Santiago. We sent an email to Hotel Alborada to let the staff know that we would not be arriving that night as planned. When we arrived the following day, the staff cheerfully refunded us for the night before. They did not have to, so we were quite surprised and pleased with this decision. Throughout our stay, the staff worked hard to accommodate our various needs and treated us in a very respectful manner. My room and bathroom were very large and spacious compared to most hotels that I have stayed in. Although the street that we were on was quiet, the hotel was conveniently located near the center of the city, where there were many shopping facilities and places to eat, as well as a central park with various attractions.

You get your money's worth
You get value for your money. For non-Spanish speakers there can be a little bit of trouble because the Front Desk clerks don't speak much English. The breakfast is pretty much the same everyday, but with different types of pastries and pies.

We were in ConcepciĆ³n to see friends and visit the new LDS Temple. So, we only slept at the hotel and used the restaurant. The hotel was close to the temple which made our stay easier and only 15 minutes from friends. We did not use other features, but I would assume them to be exception as well. The staff was very accommodating, parking was very secure and after hours the hotel was also locked down, but had 24 hour accessibility for guests. When back in ConcepciĆ³n we will stay there again.

Excelente atenciĆ³n, limpieza, habitaciĆ³n, sĆ³lo recomendar que si existe servicio de desayuno bufet deben prever tener todos los productos qie ofrecen y no dar como respuesta que se acabĆ³, deben asegurar la misma calidad de servicio para todos los huespedes dentro del horario definido para ello.

Agradezco su comentario y me disculpo por el inconveniente del desayuno el cual vamos a revisar, lo cual por supuesto no corresponde ni es la impresiĆ³n que queremos que se lleven nuestros huĆ©spedes, ya que trabajamos para entregarles un excelente servicio. Hotel correcto
El hotel es correcto, cumple bien para quienes van de paso. Es limpio, cama cĆ³moda y buen desayuno. Temas a mejorar; la ducha sale con muy poca presiĆ³n y, a pesar de haber apagado la calefacciĆ³n, la pieza se sentĆ­a bastante calurosa. OJO: Tener en cuenta que el IVA se paga en el hotel para quienes reservan por esta pĆ”gina, asĆ­ que sumen un 19% al costo que les aparece en Hoteles.com

Muy bonito, cĆ³modo, limpio, el personal es muy amable. Solo el acceso al estacionamiento, muy violento al bajar y subir (peligroso)
