'We absolutely loved our time here. Lovely hotel, gracious staff, and a beautiful walkable community. I felt safe here and enjoyed the historic buildings and diverse food options. The people were the best though. Would definitely return and definitely recommend The Great George to anyone.'

'A lovely spot to stay when visiting Charlottetown. The Inn’s location near the harbour makes it an ideal location. Visitors are walking distance from city highlights, parks and shopping. The hosts, Katherine and Frank, were very accommodating when a small travel plan changed. A hot breakfast was served along side a wide selection of pastries, fruit, cereals and yogurt. '

'Cindy made us feel very welcome and answered all our questions and gave great recommendations for dining. The breakfast was terrific I think Cindy must work 24/7 as she was always around if we needed something. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend to any friends planning to visit the area!'

'Extremely friendly staff who really took the time to show all the areas of the house and where complementary food and drinks can be found, day and night (coffee/tea) or sodas for a small fee. Great hospitality. Room was good. Clean and with all the necessities. Breakfast was great and plenty of choices. Would recommend this location. '

'The check in was quick and thorough, Donna was very down to earth and pleasant . She runs a beautiful Old Victorian house that is so clean and comfortable. It’s extremely welcoming from the first step you take inside the foyer. Breakfast was delicious and the conversation around the table with the other guests and Donna was great! It’s really a small world when you get chatting. We haven’t been BnB guests in the past, but this trip to the east coast has changed our way of thinking. '

'Mooi huis met parkeerplaats en op loopafstand van alles in het centrum van Charlottetown. Helaas zaten we naast een kamer waarvan onze buren de hele dag (en nacht) de ventilatie van de badkamer aan hadden staan en dat was extreem goed te horen in onze kamer waardoor we slechter hebben geslapen. In andere kamers heb je hier misschien minder last van. '

'The Elmwood is an enchanting place to rest our vacation weary bodies. The Violet, the owner, was very accomodating to our ask for an extention to our stay. Both of the rooms we stayed in were very beautiful and full of memories of a past life with past occupants of the Inn. This is definitely a place I would recommend to anyone visiting the Charlottetown area'

'The hotel is convenient to visit Charlottetown with the car, located in the commercial street outside downtown but not far. Room spatious, well equipped and quiet. The continental breakfast is included but like mos american hotel chains, self service with plastic-throw-away china which for us europeans is seen very primitive and improvised. The staff at the hotel were very helful and efficient as they organised shipment of the bag that we forgot in the hotel, many thanks for that extra service!'
