'We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay with this wonderful hospitality team. Yes, the lodge is in the middle of nowhere but that’s the point. Plenty to do in the countryside or within 15 minutes drive, and wonderful food awaits you upon returning. Not sure we’ll ever make it back, but encourage you to spend at least one if your Connemara nights by the cozy fires at the Lach Inach Lodge. '

'This place is great. The location is perfect for exploring Connemara. The house is away from busy streets, thus very quiet. Our room was great, clean, well equipped bathroom. Our host, Sue, was super-friendly and very helpful. The breakfast was great, several options, all good. So, a perfect 5 of 5! '

'Beautiful, spacious property. Practical Details for Americans: they have a water kettle not a coffee pot, so purchase instant or bag coffee before you come, not beans or ground. They have a washer and dryer. You need to bring pods and be aware, it's a condenser dryer that takes about 2 hours to dry a verysmall load (5-6 items). Be sure to empty the dryer water tank. It's muddy on the property, so bring slippers or alternate shoes plus something to put your shoes in to protect your suitcase....

'Bij binnenkomst moet je even schakelen, want het is een 'ander' hotel. Maar leuk en goed anders. Leuke, jonge, hippe mensen die er werken. Heel aardig en heel professioneel. Leuk hip. Goed ontbijt, leuk restaurant. 1 tip voor de manager: zorg dat het topmatras de juiste maat heeft.'

'The Snug gives you exactly what it advertises: a bed, a shower and a toilet. That's all. But I didn't need more because in a town like Galway, I was out by 8:30 and back by midnight. The location is absolutely where you want to be, right on Quay Street where a lot of great pubs are, but you can be in the Claddagh and by Galway bay within minutes as well (to spot some seals!). The staff was great too. The only complaint I can utter was that fire alarm going off twice in the first night because...
