The property is at some elevation and while very close to town (1.5 miles away) it is out of the busy area on the east side of town and it is in a scenic area. There is a great restaurant at the bottom of the hill, and a country store just a couple blocks away. There is an incredible view to the north of the Coos Bay estuary and often eagles and turkey vultures ride the updrafts from the hill in front. Deer and wild turkeys often frequent the property.
