Uitzicht op prachtige Lake! Zondag stromen door de ramen de hele dag in deze lichte luchtige eigentijdse thuisstadion en nieuw gebouwde guesthouse! Belangrijkste huis heeft 3 slaapkamers en een open loft (zie hieronder voor BED lay-out). Daarnaast zijn er 4 badkamers plus twee buitendouches! Dramatische dubbele hoogte woonkamer met grote open haard opent naar groot buitenterras, dat leidt naar het meer. Gas grill. Pension heeft een woonkamer die tevens fungeren als een slaapkamer (met badkamer) en een aparte slaapkamer boven suite met volledige badkamer. Het huis beschikt over een bar met een kleine koelkast, magnetron en een bar spoelbak, evenals een terras. Beide huizen zijn volledig voorzien van airconditioning. Zomer activiteiten omvatten: Tennis: Prive tennisbaan op onroerend goed met rackets en ballen. Boot, vissen, zwemmen en wandelen. Prachtige dock op meer met vlot. In de buurt van een aantal prachtige golfbanen. Vijf minuten van Copake Lake en motorboot varen. Binnen 30 minuten van de Berkshires, waar zomer kunstfestivals in overvloed. Skiën in de buurt (15 minuten), rodelen, sneeuwschoenwandelen en schaatsen in de winter. Fabelachtige best beoordeelde restaurants binnen 10-20 minuten. Mooi! Perfect voor een familie vakantie, reünie of 2 families te delen.
Gelegen op een rustige Upper Rhoda Lake (2 acre meer) in een serene en rustige buurt. Niet-motorboot varen toegestaan. Het gebied geniet van de rustige sereniteit van een woestijn retraite.

Another enjoyable stay

We had another enjoyable stay at this property. Accommodations were comfortable, and the families enjoyed the boats, kayaks and rowboat, fishing, exploring the lake, and swimming from the dock. The tennis court was again a great feature. I spent much time sitting overlooking the lake reading, and only left the property one day to visit a nearby sculpture park!

House is as described. Very clean and keyless entry so check in went smoothly. Dock is very nice but as other reviews stated you won’t be able to swim from the dock, there is a lot of algae at the edge. We had a large party and house size was very nice. The kitchen was a bit small for our size group but had everything you could want, quite well stocked. Overall house pictures were very accurate. Tennis court and gym were nice to have. We enjoyed are week very much.

We stayed here with our extended family. The property was beautiful in fall and was a great layout for multiple families getting together. There was plenty of separated sleeping spaces and a large common seating area. It was exactly what we were hoping for.

Perfect for groups!

We have four families that go away to different places every year and this was the best house so far! Plenty of room for all of us, quiet, and lots to do on the property. The only issue we had was wifi in the guest house but the host was very easy to contact and even came to the house to help restore it. It was a great stay!

Family Reunion

We used this house as well as 2 other homes in the neighborhood to meet for a family reunion. All the houses were clean and in close proximity to each other and the pond. The guest house for this property was a game changer, great size and space. The house had beautiful views of the lake and was clean! The room with the loft does not have AC, so that was tough because it was very warm in there.

Family Reunion

My only regret is that we could not stay longer at the house to enjoy the local l hiking and just sit and enjoy the view of the pond. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had every utensil, bowls, plates, etc for the 11 of us. I would rent this house again.

Beautiful Labor Day Weekend

We rented this property for my husband’s whole family to get together and enjoy the end of the summer. We had 8 adults and a 2 year old, and the property was the perfect gathering spot for us all. The separate guest house was great for our niece to have a quiet place for her nap. We loved boating and swimming on the lake, and the property looked magical with the outdoor lights at night. I would highly recommend this property.

Great Getaway

Our family was looking for the perfect place to gather to celebrate our mother’s birthday. This property was a home run! It was large enough for our group and had great spaces to entertain, both inside and out. The hostess was quick to respond with any questions we had. The location was also great, being close to Hudson, NY as well as the Berkshires, just over the border. I would definitely rent this home again

Beautiful location on Upper Rhoda Pond

The house and guest house were perfect for our group of 10 adults. It was roomy and comfortable. The location on the pond is fantastic, with lots of outside seating and a beautiful view. Some of us enjoyed the kayaking and swimming while others used the tennis court. The table tennis was also fun. Highly recommended!

Great house for our family with grandkids ages five through eighteen! Tennis courts, ping pong and gym were all appreciated! Plenty of room for the ten of us with together and private spaces. Beautiful grounds. Boats were fun too! House also well stocked. Loved it!

This property was excellent for our needs. It housed 7 adults and 2 children comfortably. The dining table was large enough to accommodate large holiday meals and seat 9 with ease. The gym was equipped to meet our needs. The ping pong table in the basement was a highlight. The fire place is well designed and efficient, providing heat as well as attracting everyone to the spacious and comfy living area. The property manager was responsive and available by text (to help find a TVremote, ping pong paddles, shoveled the driveway daily). The house is warm in winter and there is a thermostat in most every room. Details include ample electrical plugs at convenient locations, bedside reading lights...high ceilings with many floor to ceiling windows...bedrooms have sliding doors that face the lake. The moon over the huge pond is spectacular.The house is dated in an overall charming sort of way, it has quirks. For example, when you shower in the master bath, there is a rumble, the floor shakes, sulfur smell, but that goes away after the shower. This property is fun... tennis/basketball court, gym, ping pong, long beautiful driveway/isolated, acres of land, multiple sliding doors that open to wooden decks that lead to the lake. Price point could be 3-400 lower...It's not fancy linens and it has quirks...but it's warm, cozy, safe feeling, perfect for extended families.

House on Upper Rhoda Pond

We really enjoyed our stay at this property. The house and guest house left plenty of room to spread out, and the property was ideal, isolated from neighboring properties. Loved having a tennis court, which was used daily. The kids swam off of the dock and also enjoyed the fishing which resulted in numerous fish caught each time we ventured out to fish. The deck was used daily for meals and the sitting area nearer to the dock was frequently utilized. Overall, a very enjoyable experience!

Great house on quiet pond in perfect location

We really enjoyed our time in Copake. There was so much room for all our family. The layout was great with lots of natural lighting. The property is huge and the tennis court and kayaks were used every day. The location is perfect, between the Hudson Valley and the Berkshires, so we enjoyed both. Jenifer was a big help answering questions. No complaints and we would visit here again for sure.

Great House, Spectacular Location

The house was larger and closer to the lake than than the photos suggested. Plenty of room for 14 of us for a relaxing family retreat. We kayaked in the lake, walked the rail trals and swam at a few locations. The Roe Jan Brewery was a big hit for good food and drink. Jenifer the property manager was very responsive and helpful, and even provided an unexpected fantastic amenity.
