The staff was very friendly and helpfull. The room was clean an pleasant. The breakfast was awesome! I was only informed after check-in that there were renovation activities at the hotel, causing noise between 08:00 - 17:00. I was not informed by the hotel, nor by Expedia. This was a very unpleasant surprise! The next day I was woken up by hard noise at 07:15 AM! I find it very unprofessionally to not inform your guests in advance (before check-in at a time cancellation would still be possible) and even more that they were not honest about the time I should have expected the noise to start. A very big turn-off!

Dear Petri, It was a really nice stay, but in the night it was like somebody was walking through our room. We heard footsteps and the floor made loud noises. We couldn’t sleep because of it. And our own music box started playing other music out of nowhere. In the morning we found handprints above our bed. I recommend not staying in room 354. Other than that it was a lovely stay!

Only negative thing to review is there is construction right outside my window across the street, and the hotel is under going renovations. When I checked in at reception, they asked if I was aware of the renos, which I wasn’t. Well, at 7am (when you don’t want to me awake on vacation!) the Reno’s start :(

Just a wonderful find. The staff were professional, helpful and caring. They recommended places to visit and gave us a map. Great location. Our room was amazing. Fantastic views over the rooftops. Spacious and comfortable. Clean and well equipped. Bathroom again was clean and had everything that was needed. A good sustainable environment and plants everywhere. Breakfast was more than you could want. Best omelette. We will definitely be going back.

Der Aufenthalt im Skt. Petri war absolut angenehm. Das Hotel ist sehr stylisch und gut eingerichtet. Schönes, ausreichend großes Zimmer, das sehr komfortabel war. Das Bett war sehr bequem, große flauschige Handtücher- alles bestens. Das Frühstück war sehr gut und bot reichlich Auswahl. Mein persönliches Highlight war die Kaffeemaschine, die Kaffeespezialitäten mit Hafermilch im Angebot hatte. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, vieles ist fußläufig erreichbar. Mir hat auch gut gefallen, dass man mit der Metro ohne umsteigen in kurzer Zeit das Hotel erreicht. Absolut empfehlenswert.

I heard that the door in the room rattling, probably due to the air pressure, and also the hassle and the bustle of the city on Saturday night until next morning. Also, the walls are very thin, I could hear a lot of noise from neighbors and the floor above.

Fantastic modern boutique hotel in the shopping center of the city. You can walk anywhere from this location. Almost everything is easily within 30 mins walk time but you can easily venture out further by foot to slowly take in all the sights. Metro station 5 mins walking distance. A plethora of amazing coffee shops. Democratic Coffee literally around the corner and legendary La Cabra a short 7 min walk away. Rooms are spacious and the breakfast is worth the upgrade to add on. Staff are amazing and rooms clean. Incredible restaurants are plentiful. Would happily return here on my next visit.

Where do I start? This was probably my worst experience at a hotel. It is marketed as a 5 star property but be aware! This is nowhere near that! It’s 3 stars at its best. We arrived super tired from a long flight and the receptionist was so unfriendly. She didn’t even care nor was eager to get us in the room as soon as possible. Other guest arrived after us and got checked in before and we were waiting in the lobby for hours. When I booked the room it was advertised as over 200sq-ft. I got in and OMG! The room was the smallest hotel room I stayed in. Barely fit the two of us to stay comfortable. The coffee machines was placed in a window sill behind the curtains- that’s how small this place is. You expect a different experience and stay from a 5-star hotel. In addition, the conditions of the room were subpar. I have stayed and 3 star hotels and they were better. The room is outdated and dirty. The thermostat and hairdryer didnt work. I called in the morning for a replacement hairdryer as I had to step out for a meeting and it took them over 30 min and three calls to get me a new one. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here if they value comfort, cleanliness, quality and service. What a terrible experience!

BEWARE they are under construction, and restaurant is closed. It is definitely not a 5 star as rated on Expedia. We had a standard room and it only had a small closet with no dresser drawers. Not even a nightstand with drawers, so we had to unpack and put our clothes on the window’s ledge. They were willing to move us but by the time they called with a room it was the next day and we were on a tour, came back after 12 hours touring too tired to pack and unpack again just for another 2 nights. The room was clean, but my daughter and I had higher expectations as it was presented as a 5star.

Really liked it overall, only thing that bugged me was the noise level at the hotel. They were renovating the upper floors so put me on the ground floor and the noise isolation is not very good, towards the inside or the outside. So I would hear pedestrians outside as well as noise from the bar and foot steps from above and next to my room. Not the best sleep I ever got but everything else was very good. Breakfast was excellent and you can get everywhere within a few minutes of walking.

Expensive for no frills experience. Nothing complimentary (e.g. no coffee in room or lobby), tiny rooms etc. Audacity to charge a DKK15 sustainability fee at checkout - small amount but it’s the principle of making customers pay for their branding.

Great hotel in a fab position. Undergoing renovations so not all facilities available. Despite this a really enjoyable stay and great breakfast!
