'a cancelled and delayed flight from DFW had us looking in am for a hotel for a needed rest /nap and a tv/lounge for a drink and to watch a world cup soccer game. i called and received outstanding service from staff at Aloft. they allowed early check in and opened lobby bar early for the game- even had some great food for the kitchen. manager Enrique Torres personally took care of us opening the lounge and kitchen early. and a free shuttle to from airport as well- and super comfortable...

'I had much higher expectations for this hotel. I had seen mixed reviews but decided to stay optimistic. The hotel itself seems quite modern and had nice decor but I was very disappointed with our room. The room was very humid, the carpet was wet and the room had a chemical cleaner smell. It was obvious that there had recently been a mess on the carpet and instead of closing the room and having it be properly cleaned they had put us in this room. 'The rooms were clean and spacious. The stay was great, but the breakfast was ok. The posted description stated buffet style breakfast which is incorrect, it's basically a breakfast sandwich or choice of cereal or a waffle. There wasn't much of a selection which we found restaurants nearby for other options. The room had a sign stating they had cooktop available upon request since the room had a kitchenette but that was also incorrect. Overall, the stay was great.'

'We stayed here for two nights. Check in was fast. Walmart is walking distance from the hotel. Breakfast was ok. Our room had a weird damp smell. I wonder if the smell was due to the moisture in the air or not. The room and bathroom were neat and clean. We had a rental car so we drove to nearby restaurants. No restaurants within walking distance. Overall it was not a bad experience.'
