'3rd time staying here - love the house and position is great to explore the lizard. Damp was really bad this year - walls were wet and mouldy in places and kitchen cupboards very musty - cleaners were great coming out and cleaning up some of the mould. Probably damp build up if it had been shut up for a while. But we always enjoy our stay - beds comfy and loads of room for our family and little dog '

'Beautiful location for this really special place to stay. We had two night here. Although we didn’t have great weather, it hardly altered as the hotel has lots of cosy places to sit and look out on the truly stunning gardens. The staff were incredibly friendly and kind. Thank you to whoever found my husbands watch and called us so we were not too far away to come back for it! Another highlight is the hotel’s own soap products which smell amazing and are available to buy. Sadly they had run out...

'Oud hotel, maar dan in positieve zin. Nog steeds comfortabel en gemoderniseerd op passende wijze. Goed bed, mooi uitzicht, fijn sanitair, prima roomservice. Aardige bediening. Fijne ligging net uit de drukte van het echte centrum.'

'The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. We stayed in the disabled access room which was very good. The only thing we would say is the the toilet is very low for a disabled person, even with the grab bars. '

'The staff were all absolutely smashing - everyone we spoke to from the check in desk to the pool staff to the bar and the restaurant team - we were so grateful and impressed by their kindness, friendliness and professionalism. They all really made our stay - they are a credit to you. We arrived in town a little early and it was no problem to grab a spot in the carpark and use the pool before check in. Pool was lovely and clean, sundeck was a real treat. We will be back!'

'A beautiful place, delicious breakfast though items were missing like bowls, spoons, milk, beans, sausages. We thought about going to get the milk for them. Disappointingly the steam room was out of order. Sadly, they no longer serve dinner but do offer small plates. The staff are fab, though one very noisy waitress at breakfast bashes things as she clears up. There’s a fire to warm you on chilly evenings. Enjoyed the games on offer with our nightcap. Suggestion: A gutter around the pool would...

'Had a great stay at the Membly Hotel. Great location with very polite and helpful staff. Had A lovely quiet, large twin room On the ground floor which was kept clean at all times. Very happy thank you'

'We took a bad start as the property was without electricity when we arrived (a problem of the whole area) but after that was solved, everything in our stay was perfect; The host gives us friendly service of breakfast and the restaurant was FABULOUS, with nice wines and excellent food. I had lobster and enjoyed every bit of it. The garden is pleasant to sit in with a good beer, they have several good beers on tap. I would stay again.'

'Everything you could need for independent accommodation. Very well equipped kitchen and dining space with comfortable lounge area. Bedrooms and bathroom are a good size and are clean and tidy. The facility of the hot tub is amazing. Also only a 15min drive from Falmouth seafront. Overall, very well worth a stay here. '
