You can even dine on the screened porch and take advantage of the great weather and OBX breezes! The furnished upper sun decks provide the perfect place to sit outside with your cup of coffee while the covered furnished deck is a great spot to read your favorite book or relax in the porch swing!

Fabulous home for our family g

House had every amenity you could ever want. Even our cloudy days were perfect with access to a home pool and hot tub. Not to mention the recreation room with large screen TV and fun games. We had a fabulous time and hope to return in the future.

A great stay

A great house close to the beach and restaurants. The house was great. A little outdated but everything worked as it should. The washcloth from the previous renter was left in the shower which was gross, but clean towels and linens were provided which was also great. The pool also needs a good cleaning as there was sand on the bottom when we got there. The pool guys never came. The house is close to restaurants and shopping and about 3 miles south of the lighthouse. Having the private strip of beach for just the community members was awesome. Room for everyone. Overall the house and location were phenomenal I just had some doubts about the cleanliness of it understanding it IS a beach rental property that allows dogs which we need. Overall it was a 9/10

Almost 5 Star

This house was close to being a 5 star. However, it was lacking just a few details. First, the negatives (which are much outweighed by the positives): When we first walked in, the musky smell was unmistakable. We finally traced the smell to a stain in the carpet on the stairs, and hit it up with a bunch of Febreeze. Once we had the AC turned on and got some fresh air in the house, it was a huge improvement. This is a pet friendly property and we appreciated that it appeared the carpet had been very recently cleaned, there was just that one problem area. The air filter was in dire need of changing, it was clearly near the end of its life. The chairs and loungers by the pool were filthy, and all the loungers were cracked and broken. We set the loungers aside and hosed off the chairs until they were clean enough for use. We loved everything else about the house. The hot tub is large and clean, the pool is on the small side but clean, nicely kept, and you can’t beat the shade from the trees around the property. The kitchen has everything you’d expect, and the king beds are very comfortable. Fantastic location, you can walk to all shopping and restaurants and stop to feed the turtles on the way. The porch alone is almost worth renting the house for; it’s as lovely as it looks in the pictures, and we spent hours reading and listening to music there. All in all, I’d book here again. It just needs a tad more attention to be a 5 star.
