Continental breakfast was very disappointing. Oranges, apples, and bananas were poor quality; bacon was shaved so thin, it was tasteless; muffins were jiffy quality; Coffee was not replenished regularly, only the waffles palatable. The biggest issue was housekeeping. We were there five nights and never received housekeeping service. There is a ‘system’ that requires you to take the hang tag off of your door for service (this was never disclosed or posted). The signage on vanity said services would be every other day. When I spoke with the front desk they told me about the hang tag -I told them that I even spoke with two of the staff members on the floor, and they said (unfortunately) they speak very little English (that does not excuse being missed for service five nights). I scrubbed the tub myself, made our beds daily, and emptied the trash daily. When we returned daily to find the room not serviced, I had to request towels and toilet paper from the front desk. We just had to deal with the sand that unavoidably was tracked into the room. I will say they were very responsive the first night when the A/C broke - they made alternate room options and had it serviced the next day. Front desk staff was not engaging (at all), but they did send the linens up quickly after my calls (the guy that brought them was very kind).
