First time giving a response on a motel
I would not stay here again. The beds looked like someone left skid marks on the side. TV mounted to the wall is facing opposite direction, could not even watch it.

The guest paid rent one third of market value. Therefore guest should not have to compare with five star as they can not afford five star and select basic property like us. The room is basic room with amenities as per advertise provided. This is a fishing place having private pier and guest enjoyed. We do not have complain other guest.

Guest should have to provide specific feed back therefore we are not accepting his low rate. The price paid by guest is one third of market value. Therefore we have provided best service against customer's paid amount.

We offer basic room with double bed. With out explanation, we are not agreed for guest feed back. Guest need to understand normal property and did not have to compare with five star hotel.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Location was very good. The property is dated but good. My wife said the restroom smelled like urine but I didn't pick it up. Pool was kinda dirty. AC was nice and cold.

Simple place but we will be back.
Simple but great location for some quiet family time. Rooms were very spacious for price. Nothing fancy but we will be back.

The room was unsafe with exposed electrical wiring, uncapped gas lines, no carbon monoxide detector, unsafe amounts of mold in air conditioner, air conditioner would only get the room down to 85 degrees.

There was no electrical wire expose as we are continuously renting the room and no other guest reported this issue. Regarding air-condition, our maintenance person will check and he will take action.

It was clean and quiet, but the smell of mildew/mold was strong. There was 2 inches of dust on top of the mini fridge/under the microwave. The window unit needs cleaning desperately. The gentleman at the desk was very nice. We ended up staying another night. Would stay there again, just not in that room.

Something Different
It’s was my Birthday and wanted to relax,fish,eat good food,family fun. Something different. It was the BEST weekend I’ve had outside of our vacation home EVER! It was clean,quiet and the staff was very helpful. It’s a hard choice on which part I enjoyed the most so will most definitely be returning.Til next time

This is a basic room as per advertise in the website. The room was clean and No other customer had reported about cleanliness. Guest should know the review rating and can not compare with five star hotel. This type of guest not able to effort five star hotel and select like ours in lower price. This type guest confuse themselves and do not make proper decision. Therefore i am not accepting their reviews.

It usually is a very pleasant Stan, but this time we had to leave early due to my daughters illnesses, and we’re not refunded not even one night back after paying for five and only being able to stay for two they were informed and us having to leave and why and still did not want to give up not one night back to me. I paid cash because they couldn’t charge my card then refused to give me a refund of any kind , I would have been happy to come back at different time but not even that Courtesy was extended to me an my family.

When we Visit Rockpory Texas again my Wife/ are for sure making Reservations. Located across the Bay its in a Excellent location. Everything was Great!!!

If you are looking for a place to shower and lay your head, then it will fit the bill. Not the nicest place but will work. Best thing was JJ's Cafe for breakfast and Pier 77 for dinner.

Loved the lighted Pier for fishing at night! The pool was nice and clean. Overall it was a peaceful and nice stay!

Basic with a pier
Its a basic hotel we frequently stay, owners are extremely nice and friendly and want your stay to be great. Step outside of our cottage and you can see the water and use their private pier which is always nice. Bed is comfortable and 2 queen rooms are big.

We never got complain regarding cleanliness of room and the room was cleaned. The property is near/front of the water bay and palm trees, so that is common for cockroaches in the open places including 5 star hotels also.

This place isn't fancy but you get the basic necessities -- a place to rest, a place to shower, a place to keep food -- and it's right across the street from the bay and a pier that guests can use for fishing or just walking out onto the water. Also next door to the Fulton Mansion. And the staff were really nice!

You were 5 family members and outside rooms the lights is available/lighted. Nothing scary in lights. Beds depends on personal basis. It is not a hotel but a cottages and fishing place.

Horrible place. Would no recommend at all. The room smelled like mold and you can even see the mold on the ceiling. Found a dead roach next to the bed. Ac unit was not working well.

Not horrible, but you got so many people in one room. And also got outsiders and had party. If the door is closed and open so many times, naturally the AC will not give proper cooling. Its not a closed Hotel, its a open place.

We couldn’t even stay, the place was so bad. For $150/night, I was expecting a cute little cottage, but was horribly disappointed & we left. Tried to get a refund through Expedia but am having trouble getting in contact with someone so I’m not too happy with them, either.

This is a no frills motel for fisher humans, convenient location, A/C was cold, linens were clean, we had fun night fishing on the pier. Owners are nice & friendly. We enjoyed it, but we are no frills people, if you're looking for a 5 star hotel this is not it, if you just want to hang out, relax watch the water on the porch it's great for that

Didnt sleep well. Woke up about 2am being irritated. Then to find my left in welts. Comes to find out the bed me and my 1 year old granddaughter was in had bed bugs. They were big to were u can see them. I was only offred to switch rooms to were i still was traumatized from what i was seeing. Towles were all old, small and thin. Finally able to fall asleep the. To wake up with welt on my face also. I checked out and all i was told sorry. Then they offered me stating I could of slept in while i was already checking out. I even showed them the mark on my face and tood them my leg was pretty jacked up. Later that night as i went home my leg swelled up bad. I wasn't able to sleep in my own home being woken up at 3am until 4:30 am with my right leg being swollen from all the bite marks being irritated bad. Even when walking it was uncomfortable. Even my left arm had marks from the bites. I have even bought itch cream which only last so long. It cause me to ask to get off early from work to make a doctors appointment to see if i can get a steriod shot because of the reaction i got from these bed bugs.

Great stay!
Fulton is an older fishing area. Come here for being outside: beach, shopping or the pool!. Loved that the place was right across the street to the water and walked the private pier! The place is good enough for the visit…it’s a cottage-style, one story and share one wall. I loved my stay here! Don’t think bougee, think fun!!
