  • This darling lakeside cottage offers cool, coastal style in a brand-new vacation rental at Cinnamon Shore South. Navy-and-white interiors feel neat and nautical, with den/kitchen combo on the 1st floor and great porches. Upstairs, a bunk room and master suite both have lake views!

    AMENITIES: At South, enjoy resort-style amenities such as the Cabana Pool with infinity edge; the new Splish Splash Family Pool with infinity edge and splash pad; Tailwind Park, Coastline Fire Lounge and other parks; serene lakes and ponds; a community pier; overlook pavilions and playscape. You also can access amenities at Cinnamon Shore North: pools, lakes, fitness center, on-site restaurants, and Town Center fun.

    MAIN LIVING SPACE: A pair of cozy, white sofas invite you to relax in the charming den, which backs into the kitchen for a great combination living space with water views. Watch the wall-mounted flat-screen TV or the serene lake through the trio of floor to ceiling picture windows. Navy-and-white bar-height stools pull up the kitchen island for easy meals or as you visit with the cook. The stainless appliances and deep, gas range, and farmhouse-style sink provide everything you need! A powder room serves this level.

    SLEEPING QUARTERS: Upstairs, a lovely primary suite with plantation shutters on every window and door offers comfort and island style. A king bed serves as centerpiece in this posh retreat, which opens to a balcony overlooking the lake. Enjoy the primary bath with walk-in shower and dual sinks in a well-appointed space. The bunk bedroom offers a twin-over-queen in nautical striped bedding, along with its own balcony and bathroom. The bunk room bath has a tub/shower combo that works for little ones or for adults who prefer a shower.

    EXTRA FEATURES: Stay lakeside and stroll the boardwalk down to the gorgeous new pool at South, with shaded cabanas, lounge chairs, and hammocks over the lake on the sun deck. Back home, a stackable washer-dryer and storage for beach towels keep your rental ship-shape. You’ll also have access to amenities at nearby Cinnamon Shore North – from the fitness center to the three other pools, restaurants, a coffee shop, and more.

    UPDATE! The stunning community pool at Cinnamon Shore South is now open. It’s a cabana-lined oasis, with infinity edges overlooking the lake, a sun deck, and hammocks over the water. It’s also heated in cooler months.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: House was very nice. Great location and perfect for 2-4 people. Although kitchen could have been more organized and bedding seemed old. There were no wine glasses, mixing bowls etc. I would stay here again, but bring my own kitchen supplies and bedding.

Reviewer Comments: This was our first stay at CS, we really enjoyed the beautiful community.The ease of going to the beach on a golf cart was a big positive for us.The cottage, Southern Anchor, was great for the two of us and would be nice for a small family. We really enjoyed the lake view. The ladies at check in desk were very friendly and helpful. We hope to return!

Great Time in Cinnamon Shores

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed for four nights. The house was perfect for a family of four. We enjoyed easy access to the beach with our cart, as well as, fishing right outside the property in the lake. The lake is stocked with a variety of fish (reds, catfish, bass) and is catch / release. We enjoyed the pools at South (two kid friendly pools) and really enjoyed being able to get lunch at the grill next to the pool. The property was clean and well maintained. Only suggestions would be for an ice machine (not a huge deal since they had ice trays available) and outdoor hooks to hang up wet towels. Would definitely stay again!

I did call the office and they sent someone the last day we were there. It did start working the second day. The other issue we did not like was that you were unable to turn the A/C unit down but it was not a problem just made it a little inconvenient when it got hot. Everything else was great! The property and staff were awesome! Thank you.

House is always clean and had everything we need, only small complaint was not having ice machine like other rentals. The coffee pot kept blowing breaker and had to move it. Looking for a smaller house for just a family of 4 it was perfect.

Great quick retreat

Loved it was right on lake, and was quiet, clean, and perfect size and feel. We only had two minor issues - 1. none of the carpets had pads and were extremely slippery and we had a couple of falls. 2. none of the lights dim and there were no night lights. We contacted management and they advised they'd let maintenance know but no one addressed the issue. Also as a note - everything took place at North. We were okay with this as we had a car and drove to beach each day but if you plan on renting a cart - just know for basically everything including beach set-up you'll have a beach trek

Only suggestion I would have is having a refrigerator with an ice maker. The small countertop one couldn't keep up with ice for 5 adults. I'd definitely stay here again in spite of that.
