    Tropische traktatie is een studio appartement op de tweede verdieping gelegen in het Beach Club condominium complex vlak bij het strand. U kunt een mooie wandeling naar het strand of hangen in het prachtige zwembad die beschikbaar is voor alle gasten. Wil je echt te ontspannen? Dan hop in de hot tub of schop je voeten onder de grote prieel. Als je graag een training krijgen, terwijl je op vakantie bent dan schommel door de mooie grote fitnessruimte dan hop in de sauna. Het complex biedt ook WiFi in het business center, zwembad en tuinhuisje gebieden of u kunt online hop met gratis WiFi beschikbaar in de unit. Er zijn ook bar-b-q kuilen, tafels en parasols, evenals een visvijver met een terras en overdekte picknicktafels.

    INTERIEUR
    Slaap lekker in het queensize bed, twee uitklapbare bedden of een dubbel opklapbed of ontspan gewoon voor de flatscreen-tv terwijl u geniet van een prachtig uitzicht op Lake Padre aan de overkant van de straat en de Golf van Mexico in de verte. Geniet van een lekker kopje koffie of een drankje in de avond op uw eigen balkon met uitzicht op Lake Padre. U kunt ontbijt, lunch en diner bereiden in deze goed uitgeruste keuken en

    Beddengoed voor elk bed en badhanddoeken voor elke gast zijn aanwezig. Een minimum verblijf van twee nachten is vereist. Contracterende gasten van Padre Escapes moeten 25 jaar of ouder zijn. De gast moet een rijbewijs van de staat of een andere acceptabele ID hebben. Geen huisdieren toegestaan.

We loved our stay. It was quiet and comfortable and very convenient. The booking and communication were excellent. The only suggestions would be to have more shade options at the pool, and bird control on the deck. It was difficult to spend time on the deck as the birds made messes every time we cleaned it up. Also, we didn't feel the beach was as close as advertised. Overall we were pleased and would be more prepared if we came again.

Great location

Perfect small room for the two of us. Walking distance to the beach and drive access as well. Only issue we had was the building number not being listed on the confirmation. A quick email and we got the answer we needed. Would stay again.

Great place to get away

This is a great place to get away with your loved one. The property is in a great location, the rooms were very clean, and the vibe of the place was awesome. One thing, which does pertain to me but just as a FYI. There is no elevators, so if you have difficulty with steps, request a ground floor apartment.

Perfectly Convenient

I stayed here for a weekend fishing trip and it was great. The room was a little tight with three adults, but we made it work. The place was clean and the car wash station was super handy for cleanup after a long drive on the beach. We had no trouble reaching PINS or Port Aransas in a timely manner, and having a grocery store just down the street was really handy. Special shout-out to Keziah! She was extremely helpful and helped me figure out how to handle my first VRBO rental like a champ.

The bath rub shower was a little temperamental. I couldn't figure out how to get sufficiently hot water. That could just be operator error. The control nob was iffy.

The room was dusty and had the picture with crack in it that had to be removed and it was a studio instead of seperate bedroom was not what I'd hoped for. My mistake for not catching the bedroom sooner.. Other than that it was ok but won't pay that much for a studio again when I found full bedroom for same price.

Will not be coming back

Apartment was dirty with sticky floors and trash on bathroom floor from previous guest. Bookingnwas forn3 people and only left 2 towel sets. Designated parking spot was blocked and i was not botified and as a result had to walk entire conplex to get bags up. When i rea hed out to support inwas told too bad and recieved no help outside them dropping 1 already opened set of "clean" towels outside the door.

Full review pros/cons

Very easy to book, good email communication, called me when I was close to the property to check in, the foyer/stairs to the apartment are horribly dirty with dead bugs/cobwebs/bad smell, the inside of our condo didn’t have a clean smell but didn’t smell badly, a big cockroach was waiting for us in the kitchen though and another one the same area the next day. There was no pillow for 2 guests and no towel for 1 guest. 1 guest opted to use the couch pillow and I called to request a pillow for the 2nd guest. I found a towel and a top blanket in the closet and 1 guest opted to use a blanket she bought. The towels and blankets are extremely scratchy. I recommend bringing your own bathroom towels in addition to own beach towels and a thicker blanket if you’re cold natured. It was nice having a fridge, oven and microwave. We loved the beautiful floor lamp in the living area and used that like a night light for my youngest. It was so peaceful seeing the sun shining through the palm trees in the sunrise and sunset. It was all in all a nice stay.

Reviewer Comments: The folks at Padre Escapes are friendly however we had the following challenges with unit 298 which they could not address during our stay. The bathroom tub facet temperature control is challenging ie too hot or freezing cold, the unit 198 (beneath unit 298) beeped every 30 seconds for three days and nights ,the sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable and will not accommodate two adults dogs ( dachshund and white lab ) in unit below us barked through out the early morning and day and ran loose on the grounds the second floor hall light was out when we arrived so we couldn’t see the front door lock box without a flashlight ie a safety concern as well as an inconvenience The workout room was dirty and disorganized. If we hear from Padre, we can update this review.

We walked to the beach every night and found it to be pretty calm during the week. I was so happy with this unit and the way it is managed and cleaned.
