Great stay with a great view

The house was just as expected but with a great view of the salt flat. We enjoyed our down-time on the porch watching and listening to the birds. We could even see the ships passing in the channel.

Family fun

It was nice does not sleep more than 7 people comfortable. The pull out couch is the most awful bed my nephew slept there and it is crooked and the mattress was horrible. Having everything we needed was awesome.. Otherwise loved the balconies and being so close to the pool

The many problems with this rental

Upon arrival at the property, the house was still being cleaned. Check-in time was 4:00 and we were not able to check in until 4:47 pm. While waiting outside for nearly an hour, we called the property management company and were told that someone would be calling us back regarding this matter. We never received a callback. Upon going into the home, the house was not thoroughly cleaned. There was a lot of dog hair, one of the beds did not have sheets on it and the backyard had a lot of dog poop in it. The coffee pot in the kitchen was broken. We called the property management to have them bring another one. It took 2 days for them to deliver it. The water pressure was awful in all bathrooms. The kitchen faucet only put out lukewarm water. The master bedroom closet ceiling was full of mold. The water hose in the front yard was also broken. Vacasa was called several times. There was a very long waiting period before some assisted us on the line. They would submit a ticket/message to the property management. Management would text us back but not respond promptly. We were very disappointed that the home was not ready at 4:00pm. Someone should have contacted us regarding this matter, but nobody did. Instead we got a text message saying that our concern has been addressed. I don’t see how, because nobody EVER called us. Overall, this rental was disappointing.

Spring break 2023

Beautiful home in a wonderful location! Close enough to the beach to enjoy and just far enough from the craziness of after hours spring breakers. Our family had a wonderful time together making memories and just relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked with the utensils we needed to cook our meals, washer and dryer was a plus. Overall this house was perfect and we will definitely recommend to our friends.

Disappointing

When we arrived we were not able to access the garage, landscaper were present working in back fenced yard (which is were the dogs would go) the garbage disposal didn't work, the dishwasher ran water all over the floor, the kitchen sink wouldn't drain (possibly from the garbage disposal not working ) there was tape on the floor where the flooring wasn't finished, a large portion of outdoor lights weren't working, several inside lights weren't working, the guest bathroom ceiling was dripping water and had black mold growing, and there were 2 different signs on the fridge for different trash days (4 total) stating of it wasn't out on trash day we would be fined, mind you the trash can was full when we arrived and we had no where to put out trash. The house just wasn't ready to rent at all. Vacassas response to requests for help overall went unanswered. In the end I reached out directly to VRBO to try and get some help

Great Getaway

Safe, very quiet community close to beach. Fully accessorized , very comfortable beds. Community pool across the street and sparkling clean! Would book again.

We did enjoy our time. Nice location. Convenient and nice neighborhood. Flooring was buckling and lifting. Cookware was questionable to use. Master shower had mold and mildew in it. We had a dog and there were stickers in the grass. Stickers were stuck in master bedroom carpet when we arrived. Couldn’t go without shoes in there. Master fan was on high and loud at night. Unable to adjust speed. Enjoyed the pool. Garage not very clean. Living room furniture not very clean. Patio furniture filthy, we wouldn’t sit on that. We had a nice time but house was not worth $3000 stay. Aesthetically needs updating. Knobs missing on some drawers and I think we left it cleaner than when we arrived.

Neglected home

Home not well-cared for by owner. Living room flooring is coming up everywhere— was terrible. Dirty rugs, pathetic kitchen pots and pans and containers that should have been thrown out long ago. Dead plants in back yard. No grass in half of it. Almost impossible to get hold of anyone to talk to. Never rent from Vacasa again.

Nice home and location

We enjoyed our stay. It was beautifully decorated and the rooms set up well for 6 people to comfortably sleep but anymore would not easily fit. The pullout sofa is not usable because all you feel are the springs. Bring an air mattress or blankets if you want to try it or if you get cold easily, the AC is strong downstairs which my son loved. There are a few things in the house that need fixing such a the lose bunk beds, stove handle was hanging on the floor from one side, and we would tripped on the lifting floor in the main living area. The flooring is different from the rest of the house. If you want to cook take a good pots and pans. There's stuff but it's stored all over and you other visitors have damaged them by not washing them properly. The outside is nice and easy to rinse if after the beach. Overall great house, it's clean, plenty of towels, and the beds and pillows are great without overuse like other rentals. We'd rent it again.

Great Location

This is a beautiful large home in a very nice neighborhood. We have dogs that travel with us so we expect some less than perfect rugs. We would have enjoyed a better yard - the stickers were NOT pet friendly, but everything else was really great. Contacting property management was impossible. That is a 1 star or less. I’d still probably stay here again just because we loved the location and community.

Lilac Stay Perfection

Enjoyed not only this beautiful home, but the pool was outstanding, clean and the lawn was great for a walk. The location is perfect for getting to the beach, amenities or to town. We rented a golf cart in town for a day. Vacasa is easy to communicate with if you need anything or have questions, and I like their stay check-ins. Want to come back to this location next time.

Cold weather

We had a great time even though the weather was cold. Only issue was a step down to the driveway that isn't marked. 3 of us tripped but no one actually fell. House was very nice!!
