As others have commented, the cleanliness, open floor plan and that 'at home feel' made this a pleasant stay. The upper deck does have a fairly unobstructed view of the ICW (Intercoastal Waterway) however this is not an ocean view home. The large living room with an oversized couch and comfortable chairs along with TV's throughout and central A/C also made it feel like home. The bedrooms were well appointed with plenty of closet and drawer space and luggage racks. The Master King size bed had an egg crate mattress pad which worked fairly well. The bath had a full sized shower, double sink and separate room for the toilet. The second bathroom had a tub/shower combo. Our guests commented that they found the tub to be very slippery, as there was no bath mat or grab bars. The 20 steps to get into the house can be an issue, especially toting larger or heavy suitcases - or even yourself after a heavy meal. Our favorite part of the house was the front porch/deck which overlooked the ICW. There were 2 chairs (more chairs 20 stairs down). It was a perfect spot for enjoying your favorite beverage and watching boats, tugs and barges. Or, my favorite option of doing absolutely nothing. One thing I was not impressed with was the delayed response time from the Vacasa host. While in the house, it took 4 full days (we only stayed there 5 days) to hear back from someone. As such I will take this into consideration when deciding on VRBO accomodations by Vacasa.
