Prachtig appartement in het prestigieuze Beachhead! Verwarmd zwembad!

Dit appartement heeft een open woonkamer en eetkamer. De keuken is volledig gevuld met alles wat u nodig heeft. De slaapkamer heeft een kingsize bed en de tweede slaapkamer twee aparte uitschuifbedden. Er een twee volledige baden een in elke slaapkamer. Huisdieren zijn niet toegestaan in dit apparaat en roken is alleen buiten toegestaan. Er is een groot dek dat uitkijkt over het strand. Geniet van de heerlijke wind van dit dek. Oh, had ik al gezegd dat de zonsopgangen geweldig zijn! Genesteld in de gouden duinen van Mustang Island, hebben Beachhead condos allemaal uitzicht op de Golf. De complexe voorzieningen omvatten een zwembad, een lounge voor maximaal 60 personen met een volledig uitgeruste keuken, ideaal voor feesten, bruiloften, familiereünies, een speeltuin en een privépromenade naar het strand op slechts een steenworp afstand van een van de eenheden. This place is great! We were here March 8-12. The pool was like bath water! The walk to the beach is so easy! Felt safe the entire time. Beach was great-warm enough water for kids to swim, good waves. Condo has 3 TVs. Kitchen is small, but we didn't really cook. There are no spices (think it's a texas law to have no food). Minor inconvenience-there are no beach towels (which would be nice since they are hard to pack) and beach toys would be nice (had to buy 13 boogie boards (not a deal breaker, just inconvenient). Rented a golf cart for a day-fun way to get around the island. Rented shade for 25 too which was nice after some epic sunburns. I would stay here again-quiet, safe, easy to find and right by all the restaurants and shops. Easy code to access door. Hoping to return next Spring Break! Beach is mile marker 4 if you're looking for a reference point.

Wonderful family vacation

We had a great time. The property and condo were great. We enjoyed the pool and game room in the evenings. Beach board walk was perfect. The primary bedroom was hot at night even with AC set at 72, but living room and other room stayed cool. Bring extra trash bags.

Perfectly clean, comfortable stay. Liked being wable to walk to the beach via the boardwalk. Condo interior was updated and had everything we needed. We liked the bag to use for finding shells. Hosts had everything we needed and good instructions. You'll need $1.50 in quarters to wash a load of laundry and then another $1.50 for drying a load. I wish they had a coin machine available. Pool was great and relaxing. Beds were a little harder than I prefer but still everything was clean. Outside of the condos needs a little sprucing up with paint and such. There is no office to check-in. You’ll get a text letting you know your condo is ready (guarantee check-in between 4 and 5.) Felt very safe and would stay here again.

Bathtubs in both bathrooms had wads of long black hair in them. Dishes in cabinet were dirty. Otherwise everything was very nice. Not super kid friendly but not bad.

Cozy place and convenient location!

The location was great for me and my family. Very close to the community pool and local restaurants. My 3 boys under 6 loved their room and the extra pool floats. The property was very clean! I recommend and would stay again!

Wonderful Getaway!

We went with our family of four for a few days and had a great time! The boardwalk takes you right to the beach, and the pool is nice and clean when you need a break from the sand. This unit was very clean upon arrival and decorated really cute. They have books, games and plenty of kitchen items to make for a great stay!

Pelicans with a view

Overall the Tortuga View At Beachhead was great. Spacious condo, clean, fully stocked with the items you need. A great heated pool and a short walk to the beach. Every balcony has a view of the water, some restricted views. Comfortable furniture, nice decorations, added bonus of patio furniture. Opportunities for improvement, bed wasn’t comfortable (too firm), muddy parking spots with standing water, area’s for repairs around the property (maintenance was working on several things, which was great and not disruptive), beach path would be nice if entire path had a rail at least on onside- though probably not required, just that added for those that need it. Nice clean location in a great spot close to beach and area restaurants. We will be back - liked this place and ease of checking in and out, without contact of staff.

Great Last Minute Stay

It was very easy to book and the communication was excellent. Personal note on the specific room, balcony door does not lock and a piece of metal is on the wall that cut my husbands arm. Also there was a wifi router but no instructions to connect to the internet. Overall though the place was very clean and stocked nicely. Everyone had great nights sleep and plenty of room. Would stay again.

Beautiful remote location

Overall, we were very pleased. We will stay again for sure. Great pool and park. Beautiful beach. Gorgeous view on the boardwalk. We loved the location!!!!! There were a few things that disturbed us. Minor in comparison. 1. A ton of bird droppings on patio. Not appropriate for children 1,4, and 6. 2. Bathroom ceiling paint fell from the ceiling during my husbands shower. We know no one could prevent it from happening but still unsettling. 3 Aracde room charges money to play. So bring coins. Which we were not prepared for so that was sad to explain to the kid's.

Glad it was a short stay

The pictures were deceiving. We overpaid for this place for sure. It was clean, but had a strong musty, mothball smell. It was two flights of stairs up which wasn’t fun to lug things up after a long day. The back door didn’t lock. There were pigeons on this nasty board on the patio. Overall, it was fine, but we would have requested a refund had it been more than two nights.

Excellent spot to relax

This is our third stay at Beachhead and we have enjoyed every stay, we even had our wedding reception there 18 years ago. This visit we stayed in close proximity to the pool and it was just perfect. We love the view of the gulf you get while relaxing by the pool, the boardwalk to the beach is nice, the games in the game room are fun when wanting to stay out of the heat, covered parking keeps the car cool, kitchens in rooms provide able space for cooking, and so many of our favorite shops and restaurants are in walking distance. Highly recommend staying here when you visit Port Aransas

Great Unit- terrible HOA management

This rental was absolutely perfect for my family. We fit just right, my only suggestion would be curtains on the master to help with cooling in this Texas heat. However; the HOA management on the property is another story. Adrian kicked myself and my 4 young daughters out of the pool area because I wanted to ask him a pool rule question. Then at midnight the same night Adrian proceeded to try to come in my room to see how many people I had with me. I closed the door behind me-again just myself (a mom) and her 4 young daughters. I dealt with his question outside. . I have never been treated this way at any VRBO location or in life. I watched him treat another family the same way at the pool the next night. At 10:30pm a 3 & 5 year old we’re playing air hockey too loud. That family was kicked out. With this sort of management I would suggest no one stay there. I give great stars to this unit but this facility needs to regain people skills.

Good location and spacious

The driveway and internet was our largest issues with this rental. The driveway was muddy and not rocked or paved. As such we tracked mud everywhere. The other a little less annoying was the internet. There was a sign up saying do not touch electronics. Well some previous renters must have reset the router and the network name and password no longer existed. The internet was accessible but had to use the default information found on the renter to get on. Aside from those two items we had a great time, the condo was spacious and clean. Would consider again if not for the mud.

Condos are perfect for us

These Condos were great for us. Heated pool was a win on chilly spring days. Great location and close to everything. Reneged golf cart to get around town and that was convenient and fun.

I was given an envelope that gave instructions for when I checked out. Inside was a printed paper with different instructions. You might look into it. Other than a towel with a stain on it when we arrived everything was adequate. We reported thd towel.
