Aransas Channel Dock & Fishing Pier on Harbor Island

Enjoy our newly constructed cottage and patio that faces beautiful Redfish Bay and South Bay.
Bay Dock Cottage has a patio deck, a boat dock, a 100’ fishing pier with lights, a patio and lots of parking. Our two bedroom 2 1/2 bath house sits next to the 14’ deep Aransas Channel. Shrimp boats and fishing boats use this waterway to navigate local bays as they make their way to and from the Gulf of America through the jetties. This is a family friendly property. We are located 3 miles east of Conn-Brown Harbor and 3 miles west of the Port A Ferry.

Thank you for providing such a wonderful home base for our spring break! Such a relaxing and peaceful place to spend a few days.The house itself is so cute and super clean. There was plenty of room for our family of five. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to feel at home.The fishing dock is what really sold us, and we enjoyed it morning, noon, and night! We had a lot of fun catching catfish, snapper, and drums. Dolphin sightings and pelicans made it even more exciting.You can't beat the location. Minutes away from a nice HEB, restaurants, and the Port A ferry. It's is the perfect place to be on the water while still being a little away from the hustle and bustle of Port A.We had an amazing time. This will be a trip we rememver for life. Thank you to our lovely hosts!

Sunny has a great home! I love this home. From the decorations, to extra towels, to all the useful kitchen gadgets, the house is organized with thoughtfulness and intention! We loved fishing from the pier. It is close to Lighthouse Kayak Park which is what we love to do the most. Sunny himself is super knowledgeable and friendly. I am going to stay here again with my family.

We had the best time staying at this beautiful waterfront home in Aransas Pass! The house was spotless, cozy, and had every amenity we could have needed. The peaceful water views and relaxing outdoor space made it extra special, and the beds were incredibly comfortable.The dock was absolutely perfect for fishing — with running water, a fish cleaning area, comfortable seating, and lights for night fishing, it truly made the whole experience unforgettable. You can tell the owners care about every detail.This was one of our favorite getaways, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend!

The entire place was absolutely spotless and smelled great. The hosts are very nice people. We loved watching all of the boat activity and dolphins from the sitting areas and fishing pier. We caught lots of different fish including a hammerhead, several ladyfish, lots of trout, several sting rays and many more right off the pier. We all thoroughly enjoyed both the location and the property.

3 day vacation with some old friends (our old next door neighbors when we lived in Kerrville 40 years ago). Perfect venue to relax, fish, nap, and eat out. The weather was cooperative. Great conversations on the balcony while watching the boat traffic, dolphins, and birds. Sonny and Sue are such terrific hosts! Good balance of giving us our privacy and being available for fixes. The GCI was tripped on the pier lights, and Sonny fixed it 5 minutes after I let him know of the problem. Perfect size for two couples. Bedrooms are on different floors. We liked the living room area, but we spent most of our time on the balcony or on the pier. Nice breeze. No mosquitoes (early October). Shade from the sun in the evenings. Speckled trout on the small size for the times we fished at night. Possibly, larger fish could have been caught at 2AM, but we did not want to find out!Paradise Key did a good job of cooking our freshly caught speckled trout. That place is super crowded in the summer, but in October, there's hardly anybody there.We took the ferry to Port A and ate at Virginia's on the Bay one night. Also very good.Highly recommend this place; it's our 4th or 5th time to stay here, and we will continue to come, God willing.

This was our second year staying at this fantastic location. The house is perfect and walking right out to the pier to fish is the best part of it all. Everything you could possibly need for a great time is right there. Bait shop next door is so convenient and the daily sighting of the dolphins is wonderful. We will definitely be back next year.

I could write an entire page on how happy we were with everything about this home ! The location,cleanliness , all the details. We stay at the coast often and no place has ever provided the items that these two did. From extra linens , spices for cooking , lots of toiletries, even a crab trap. You could literally pack a bag of clothes and nothing else and have everything you need here . The place was spotless , location quiet and great fishing . Easy access for kayaks to get in and out. This is definitely a place we will be returning again and again. Owners are next door and very friendly!! Love it

Family Getaway!

3 adults, 5 kids - before the first full day was over everyone was begging to make this an annual trip! The pictures don’t do it justice! Perfect location! Not only on the water, but close enough to the bigger places you can get there fairly quickly and easily without the business of the city! Accommodations were more than accommodating! I almost forgot! There’s a bait shop next door (we caught some and bought some!) and the kids and adults all caught fish! I would recommend staying here and it sounds like we’ll be back!
