The booking was paid for under my mother's address and credit card, however I rented the listing under my name, as I needed to assist her with keeping up with all the email confirmations, etc. Anyway, an alarm started to go off in the middle of the night around 9:30 pm according to my mother and sister who stayed the night there, (yes, they were listed as guests), as I had something medical come up. My mother who was staying called the number listed in the room and no one answered. In fact she said she called three times and no one ever answered the number listed in the room. We called the next day and it took until 7/24/24 to get a call back. They are refusing to refund for at least one night because they said it was my name on the reservation even though my mother paid for it and her credit card and address were listed. My mom is the one who paid for the reservation with her card and I am thankful I didn't end up staying the night with my son as we wouldn't have gotten any sleep at all to drive safely home the next day. I feel the name situation is an excuse not to refund at least one night and do not recommend staying there. I keep getting an excuse that they didn't get any phone calls that night and it should have connected to the on call ladies number but my mother never had anyone call her back that night despite leaving a message. They said maintenance was available but they had no way of knowing as no one answered the phone or called back.
