I believe this is our sixth year to stay at CS, and this was the best location and house that we have ever had. The patio was excellent and the house was above and beyond when it came to the amenities. That being said, there was quite a bit of frustration with the management company. The ice maker was not working in the refrigerator. When we alerted the front desk, they told us they were aware of the issue and that it would take a day or two to resolve. That never actually happened. On top of that, we suggested that a daily bag of ice be provided. We were told we could purchase ice but I explained that we were expecting a working ice machine and were only requesting 1 bag a day so we could have cold water/drinks. This was promised, but then was never truly executed unless we gave constant reminders.On top of this, the refrigerator did not cool below 55 degrees. Once again, the management company said they would take care of this issue promptly. This never happened during our stay, and we ended up having to throw away $100 worth of food that went bad and keep our food in coolers and purchase ice to keep the food from going bad.The issue was not with items not working as this happens. The issue was that the management company was slow to react and then had to constantly be reminded to do what they said they would do. There appears to be a breakdown between the front desk and the people doing the work. We kept getting referred to the ticketing system by the front desk with very vague promise times, and even then, what they were saying would never actually happen. It was very frustrating to not have a refrigerator/ice maker and then must constantly be seeking updates on what was happening.
