Authentieke Toscaanse villa
Authentieke, klassieke villa op 4 km van Cortona. Kamers ruim maar erg klassiek, niet geheel schoon, slecht licht en matige bedden maar toch met een authentieke uitstraling die je weer imponeert. Ontbijt is zeer beperkt. Zwembad is prachtig. Landelijke, rustige omgeving, meer dan voldoende parkeergelegenheid. Geen diner optie in Villa.

A really nice small hotel in traditional - and luxurious - country style with super friendly staff and excellent breakfast, only 10 minutes drive from the beautiful historic center - and restaurants, cafés, bars, and shopping - of Cortona.

While we have stayed at far more upmarket places in the area, Baldelli is a place we have returned to. It is very good value for money. The rooms are comfortable but not luxurious. The reception staff really make you feel welcome, and are always friendly and happy to share information. The pool area is stunning, so is ideal for a relaxing trip. The breakfast options were excellent. Cortona is very near by so an easy drive for a visit or a meal.

The grounds and buildings are stunningly beautiful!!! A short drive into Cortona, this is the place to stay. Spacious rooms, beautiful pool, like a resort in an old movie and the staff are soo helpful and pleasant. The food was delicious as well. Definitely going back one day!

Our Stay in Cortona
What can I say, from the first moment we stepped in we were greeted by a friendly male staff member who organised lunch and coffee for us while he tried to sort out a taxi for us to attend the township of Cortona. The food was delicious and when he didn't have any luck with the taxi services. He bent over backwards to make sure that we got into town during a busy weekend. Beautiful and romantic location, excellent and friendly service which was the best during our European trip and delicious food. What else could you ask for. 10/10! Highly recommended.

We liked this B&B. It was very welcoming and helpful for directions. The grounds were lovely, although it was too cold to use them. Breakfast was a wonderful selection of meats, cheeses, breads, cereal, yogurt, and tea and coffee. I would return should we have the opportunity. I would recommend this location to others. Cortona is a great hill town and great for climbing steep hills! There were some amazing restaurants, as well.

Gentile Ospite, siamo contenti che le sia piaciuta la struttura. Ci dispiace che abbia trovato polvere, generalmente il nostro personale di pulizia è molto attento...Per quanto riguarda la colazione "scarsa" ci piacerebbe sapere cosa suggerisce di aggiungere a quello che offriamo e cioè: pane bianco, pane integrale, panini, fette biscottate normali e integrali, burro, marmellate, miele, nutella, cornetti vuoti, cornetti con marmellata, due tipi di dolci fatti in casa, yogurt bianco e yogurt alla frutta, affettati tipici della zona come salame, prosciutto, capocollo oltre a prosciutto cotto, pecorino stagionato e semistagionato della zona, emmental, mozzarella di bufala, pomodori, uova strapazzate o cotte a piacere su richiesta, vari tipi di caffè, cappuccino, cioccolato, latte, te, cereali di tre tipologie e una selezione di prodotti per celiaci su richiesta.

Beautiful hotel in a great location
Really nice 17th century building with tasteful decor. Peaceful location set in lovely grounds. Very close to Cortona, but as it’s up hill you either need a car or to get a taxi! The hotel staff are very pleasant & helpful. We would definitely stay again! Next time we would hire a car & explore more of Tuscany!

Staying there was like being a princess in a castle. I had to leave early, so I was unable to talk about the breakfast. It was quiet and relaxing! Hotel staff were amazing!

Melhor Hotel de Cortona!!!
A estadia durante uma semana foi fantástica no hotel! Os funcionários são fantásticos principalmente o Leonardo que nos atendeu sempre prontamente. O hotel é muito bem localizado mas precisa de carro (3km da cidade de cortona) e as instalações são fantásticas....Com toda certeza eu voltarei!!! Café da manhã acima da média!!!

Wondrous stay in Tuscany

Para quem quer sossego
é um bom hotel para quem quiser sossego. Fica fora do burburinho de Cortona, praticamente numa zona rural, mas bem próximo da rodovia. O local é muito bonito, com uma piscina grande. Tem estacionamento dentro do hotel (gratis), mesas e cadeiras na sombra de árvores para o café da manha e para um vinho à tarde. O quarto é muito espaçoso, porém os móveis são bem antigos. A cama é grande e confortável. Não tem ar condicionado e a TV é de 22 polegadas, instalada longe da cama. O banheiro é moderno,muito limpo e funcional. O café da manhã é bem serviço, com boa variedade. O hotel não tem restaurante (ao menos, não em final de setembro), o que nos obrigava a sair para jantar na cidade próxima (3 km). O jardim do hotel é muito bem cuidado. Enfim, um local agradável para quem quiser sossego e ficar próximo de várias cidades com interesse turístico (Cortona, Montalcino, Pienza e Montepulciano)

Just about OK..but thats about it
Friendly staff (especially the jolly lady on check-in who was outstanding) but the hotel didn't live up to expectations unfortunately. The pool is average and avoid the 'classic' room as it seems to be the forgotten world. I wouldn't stay here again and think it was expensive for what it was.

The closest place to heaven
This place is a dream place... The perfect set for a movie. There is a vineyard on the property and the area is loaded with the essence of olives, flowers, gardens and grapes... Is the perfect spot for just married couples, retreat or just for unwind. The closest place to heaven. The staff, Francesca, Leonardo, Eva and the rest of them are AMAZING. I would go back every time...

Week in Tuscany
My husband and I had originally planned to do lots of day trips while staying at Relais Villa Baldelli. We enjoyed our Junior Suite so much that we tried to get back early each evening to have a picnic outside of our room with some wine and things we picked up at a deli in Cortona. The staff was so helpful with anything we needed as well as advise on traveling to different areas. We will be ging back next year!
