The room was extremely comfortable with good linens and towels. Daily maid service was excellent. Extremely quiet room and nicely appointed lighting and fixtures. However the toilet was very low to the ground and flushed from the front making it impossible to flush when seated on it. Must be addressed! The staff was very friendly with the highlight being waitress Fran who made our dining experiences fun and satisfying. No bellhop was a disappointment.

Beware. If you book a room for a King bed suite, the Marriott Hotel at Costa Mesa CA can change your purchase room to two twin beds when they are “sold” out. They will not refund your purchase or upgrade your accommodation. There is no recourse. Essentially it is a bait and switch scenario. You can either take the lower value accommodation or you can leave and still no refund. Beware of Bait and Switch. Avoid this Hotel. The night front manager was unprofessional and rude.

Overall a great stay! King suite is perfect. Clean, roomy, balcony even, only complaint is no room service on site and their “coffee maker” from the 1950s lol Like can we at least get a keurig? No? Ok. 4 stars for those reasons. Everything else was great😊

Great property. Great location. Great stay. Unfortunately the cleaning crew missed a couple of hairs in the bathroom resulting in a lower rating for cleanliness. I also had an electric rental so it would have been great if they had a few docking stations. Other than that my stay was extremely enjoyable.

Booked for Friday, 3/8 to Sunday, 3/10. Arrived late on Saturday, 3/9 at 1am with a friend’s car. The car left the hotel on 3/9 at 10am. Was charged for 2 nights of parking. The staff at front told me that it still count as two nights and said there’s nothing she can do because Marriott does not own and manage the parking.

This was the worst experience ever. We were overcharged almost $700.00 for a 4 night stay that was already paid for through Expedia. My room was dirty sheets weee dirty a felt very sad that they took so long to relocate us to another room. The girl at the front desk said that she needed two Credit Cards on file for incidentals.
