This was possibly one of the worst hotel experiences I have ever had. I get it, you get what you pay for and things happen but this was too much. I got to my room and just wanted to nap after a 10 hour work day. I went to lay down and turn the TV only for the TV to not work. I thought Ok I will call the front desk, I grab the phone to dial and the phone is not connected/not working. As I reach for my Cell Phone to call the hotel someone tries to enter my room (I believe it was housekeeping but not sure why since I was already checked in and my room was "clean"). When this person attempted to enter my room the deadbolt was latched and the force from them trying to enter and me trying to keep them out the latch got stuck and I was locked in my room. Maintenance arrived within about 20 minutes, unfortunatetly I do not speak Spanish and was unable to communicate to the maintenance team what was going on. After nearly 2 hours the door was opened and the deadbolt latch repaired/replaced. They attempted to fix my TV bringing cables and what not but finally determined they needed to change the TV. At this point I was exhausted and asked them to just leave the TV alone so I could get some sleep. The front desk never reached out to me to check in, apologize or make any apologies or offer to swap rooms anything. I will not returning to this hotel. Also the floors were filthy and the bathroom was in bad shape, so bad I didn't even shower this morning.
