'Mavi hotel has been a great experience. Quite new accomodation with clean, tidy and spacious rooms. Large, comfortable beds, large, clean bathrooms, and everything from AC, safebox to a kitchinette. What is the fun part though, you slide open your door and you're right in the backyard of Mavi with its garden, pool etc.

'De luxe kamer had eigenlijk geen luxe en het was vrij krap. Een koelkast is aanwezig en tevens een koffiezetapparaat, waar je zelf je koffie moet voor kopen. Ook de ruimte voor de rijtjes met kamers is beperkt door een volgende rij gekoppelde kamers.
De waterleidingdruk viel continue weg ook voor enkele uren waardoor wc spoelingen of douchen niet altijd op de gewenste momenten mogelijk waren. Het ontbijt was matig en het restaurant echt te duur. Daarvoor zijn er alternatieven in de omgeving....

The bedroom does not have glass windows one night was a little bit warm, so please take that into consideration but overall we loved the concept. Keep in mind there's also a huge construction boom in Costa Rica so there is some street noise, can't see it, but sometimes you can hear it'
