Een prachtig chateau, zeer goed onderhouden. Met mooie kamers. Fantastische inrichting en mooie tuin. Fijn zwembad, leuke mensen. Parkeren op eigen terrein. Heerlijk om tot rust te komen. Eten en drinken wel prijzig.

Prachtig kader in een prachtige omgeving. Absolute aanrader !!! Het hotel ligt op een idyllisch plek met een prachtig zicht op een adembenemend goed onderhouden tuinen en toegangswegen.

Mooi kasteel met alle comfort
Zeer mooi en elegant hotel met alle comfort in de kamer en in de gemeenschappelijke ruimten. Het kasteel is gelegen in een prachtig park. Het (buiten)zwembad was een zeer welgekomen pluspunt op een warme zomerdag! Fijne keuken en wijnen aan zeer schappelijke prijzen. Het ontbijt was echter vrij matig voor de prijs van 20 Euro pp. Toch zeker een aanrader.

Séjour dans une belle demeure, personnel aux petits soins, décoration très élégante. Restaurant excellent. Seul bémol la literie, un surmatelas aurait été apprécié lors de la constitution du lit double avec 2 lits, idem canapé lit, oreiller un peu ferme et couette un peu trop petite.

Absolutely fantastic!
Absolutely beautiful chateau in fabulous grounds with a multitude of walks. Lovely large swimming pool. Everything from staff to rooms to food was just wonderful. Amazing!

Une prestation hospitalière décevante.
Je m'attendais à mieux dans un lieu a priori si prestigieux, le Pavillon semblant être réservé à une clientèle "inférieure" : fauteuils tachés ++, bruits de tuyauterie dans la salle de bain, finitions plus que passables dans la salle de bain, ridicule petite télévision avec un choix de chaines affligeant... On a vraiment l'impression de passer d'un monde à l'autre entre le Pavillon et le Château ! Le parc et la restauration sont à la hauteur. Le personnel est sympathique et à l'écoute, bien que nécessitant un meilleurs management pour les personnes étrangères en formation.

Live in your own Chateau!
The Chateau is gorgeous and located on a large, lush property. Thoroughly renovated and very clean. Great outdoor pool. In-house restaurant is very good, though our waiter pressured us to select a dessert when we ordered our mains, which is "very common in France." When we told him we have eaten many meals in France and never had that experience, he backed off. But it was unnecessarily confrontational and unpleasant. Otherwise the staff was good.

Chateau Rochecotte
The Chateau Rochecotte is a real 'find'. The rooms are wonderfully decorated with high celiings and tremendious space. Restaurant is wonderful and served the best meal we have had in France so far. Deserts were aweseom.

Lovely stay
Staff was amazing, very helpful and pleasant. Bar team was very nice - thank you for complimentary sweet treats :) It is lovely building and area. We were disappointed that 4 star hotel could not offer a la carte breakfast ( example: fried or pouched eggs, fried fresh bacon and etc.) for the price of 24 euros... or at least one vegetarian lunch/dinner meal. Also, property has no wall soundproofing - we could hear every word from next room.

Nice "Chateau de la loire" XP
After a brief misunderstanding regarding dinner (the restaurant was fully booked when I checked-in), dinner was served in my room and staff fixed this situation with much pleasure. I left a bad check-in rating because of that but in the end, the stay was nearly up to my expectations. This is a really nice place, with stunning countryside views and good staff service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for the Chateau de la Loire Experience.

Un hôtel malheureusement assez vieillot dans un endroit superbe. Décoration surannée en décalage souvent dans ce cadre historique superbe. Dîner moyen (pintade soit disant farcie sans aucun goût), superbe petit déjeuner en revanche. Chambres du Pavillon (annexe) indignes de la catégorie. Magnifique !
Un parc magnifiquement entretenu offrant une hôtellerie de qualité dans le cadre reposant et feutré de ce château ayant accueullis des personnage célèbre tel que Talleyrant ou Balzac .. Nous reviendrons en été où il doit être fabuleux de flâner dans le parc, sur la terrasse italienne à l'ombre des glycines ou au bord de la piscine magnifiquement intégrée. Logement en chambre prestige : un bon dans le passé tout en profitant du confort moderne. Une jolie expérience de Chatelain le temps d'une nuit, un séjour bien trop court !

Truly a dream to stay here. Grounds are out-of-this world. Service was the friendlies we experienced in all of France. Dining experience was in its own class. A must stay if you can make it work on your itinerary.

Wonderful - a gem in Chinon countryside
Cheese trolley. If you like cheese, then eating in the restaurant is a must - not only is all of the food fantastic - but the cheese trolley is incredible. The rooms are beautiful - individually decorated and tastefully furnished. Comfortable beds with clean linen, and amazing bathrooms. Thoroughly recommend and will be back!
