'Het was een verassing om in een soort Tudor kamer te slapen in een hemelbed. Het hotel in 600 jaar oud!! Het is dus mogelijk dat niet elk detail even " modern" is, maar we hebben prima geslapen en gegeten. In pandige pub bar heel leuk en eten en ontbijt prima. Misschien hier en daar een spikkeltje stof, maar het is een prachtig hotel met veel historie.'

'Nice airy rooms. all the compfort you need. The only thing I was dissapointed for is that you don't get the welcome feeling of a real hotel. You have to check in at the bar of The restaurant. Before 3pm you are not welcome. The staff is still busy waiting on tables. You can leave the luguage at the bar If you are early. at 3pm they can check you in, but are still not very welcoming. It is like other reviews say. "a restaurant with a few rooms". breakfast was nice.'

'After being told we were going to the worst hotel in Bath, my friend and I entered with trepidation obviously under the influence of alcohol. I guess we were a bit stunned as to the squint walls, mouldy bathroom and gale force winds coming through the closed windows. After some consideration and vodka we looked on the bright side, we had a bed, a stag do had arrived, we had a hot shower and we were going to watch the Rugby! "Prachtige omgeving en heerlijk bed. Personeel werkt had en doet zijn/haar best. Het is alleen gewoon géén 5* hotel. Restaurant zeer teleurstellend (steak rauw, tafels worden niet goed schoongemaakt. service door onervaren krachten). Kamer was prima, maar douche te krap, honden gadgets vergeten (na telefoontje wel snel hersteld) en sauna bleek alleen na 10 am- tot 5pm toegankelijk én tegen extra meerprijs/ zeer klant onvriendelijk. Zoveel potentie en zo weinig waargemaakt. Gemiste kans helaas "
