Perfect location

We were with in walking distance of everything! I’m a huge vampire diaries fan and all the houses were within an 11 minute walk. “Mystic falls” was also just a short walk away. The house was beautiful and charming. The beds were so comfortable!

This is the cottage to choose!

All the amenities, beautiful decor, perfectly clean, and ideal location to walking trails and downtown. Love the private backyard and porch seating. This place felt like home!

Came with a few friends to see the town where vampire diaries was filmed. The property was just as listed. The photos don’t do it justice on how beautiful it is inside! Easy check in and check out. Would absolutely stay here again!

GREAT VACATION

House is excellent - top of the line finishes, beds are extremely comfortable, location is amazing (fantastic walking trail just around corner), walk to square. If you're looking for a place to gather or get away in Covington, GA, then look no further. A fantastic property fit for family and friends in the heart of town, you will enjoy your stay as we did at the Butler House. Quiet, serene, and beautifully appointed, the house surrounds you in tranquil elegance. Whether cooking a meal in the gorgeous kitchen or unwinding by the outdoor gas fire pit, you will be enveloped in comfort and luxury. Conveniently located, it's an easy stroll to the heart of town to enjoy poking around in the shops, restaurants, and cafes. Perfect for Vampire Diaries fans looking to explore the shoot locations and soak in the small town vibe. Our host was welcoming and a great communicator. I highly recommend the Butler House for your next stay in Covington!

The Butler house is perfection.

Beautifully restored craftsman, with modern updates. (Gorgeous kitchen!) House is fully stocked/ ready to enjoy--- Susan is an amazing host who has thought of everything! INTERIOR The pictures don’t do it justice. Opening the front door, there is a definite wow factor. It’s like stepping back in time— the tall ceilings, moulding, center hall table, etc. Home feels very spacious. Furnished with antiques, decor is upscale/ classy, but still warm & cozy. Beds were very comfortable/ lots of plush bedding. EXTERIOR House has excellent curb appeal. Porch Swing was a favorite spot = ) Backyard equally amazing with grill and fire pit— and room to play. LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION Close to everything— and easy 10 minute walk to the Covington town center. (Disclaimer: we didn’t walk to town/ but definitely could have.) COMMUNICATION Susan is so friendly and helpful. She reached out to us ahead of our trip to communicate entry instructions, and it was very easy to access the property. — Thank you, Susan!

Absolutely Amazing!!!

Beautiful house and beautifully decorated. Pictures don’t do it justice, much larger than pics make it seem. Perfect location, great backyard. Comfy beds, super clean. Very well stocked in the kitchen and bathrooms. Kitchen had everything you need to cook. Lots of towels for the bathrooms and even shampoos, conditioners, etc. Loved that there was a washer and dryer and laundry detergent was also stocked. Check-in was very clear. We loved it! That being said… Only saw two issues and one of those was hilarious. The remote for the fan controls three rooms, two bedrooms and the living room, so anytime you use it to turn your light off and on it does the same in the other rooms. That was really funny messing with the people staying in the other room or when they were in the living room. So not really an issue if you’re the one controlling the remote and enjoy pranking. The second issue I had was just because I’m a toilet paper snob and all the restrooms had 1-ply toilet paper and it was rough and I prefer soft 2-ply! But, the restrooms were well stocked with toilet paper. I would highly recommend this location to others!!!!!!!!

The Butler House was a wonderful stay! The home is beautifully decorated, very clean, and designed to feel both cozy and upscale. The location is perfect, just minutes from downtown Covington. We truly enjoyed our time here and would absolutely stay again. Highly recommend!
