'I can’t wait to go back again'

'The person checking us in was very pleasant and informative. However, the room definitively needed updating. There were places on the walls that had been primed but not painted and paint on the molding around the bathroom door. The view of the lake from the balcony was nice.'

'Parking was right outside our room and we had a patio door which made getting items in and out very easy.'

'This motel is very overpriced for the amenities and cleanliness. This is a motel and yet the front door do not automatically opened. With luggage this was very difficult to navigate. Looking at the ventilation unit filter, one can tell that this room has not been cleaned. The window was open. The shower head was Filthy! There was no plug in the drain to take a bath. Highway noise all day and night. The carpets are brown, as to not show dirt? Breakfast had waffles but the batter was...

'Great place to stay. Close to beaches, Chesterton Market, Michigan City. and more.. Just off interstate. Staff were so helpful. Decent breakfast. We only received 1 hand towel, should have asked for more. We would definitely stayhere again.'

'Did not even have a coffee pod in my room. Boxes upon boxes stacked in the dirty front desk area. Building and grounds grossly neglected. Was not expecting it to be this bad. My advice to the front desk woman was to sell the property asap. Avoid until massive renovations are done.'

'this was more like an Air B&B experience than a hotel experience. Very comfortable beds and bedding, beautiful property, friendly communication with host.'

'Everything was great, and the staff was awesome. However, the elevator was VERY dirty, and the tiled walkway to the elevator was very wet. The entrance to the pool is right next to the elevator'

'Right off the highway, yet close enough to both the Indiana Dunes State and National Parks that we were able to make multiple trips to both during our short stay. Highly recommend Wagners, local restaurant, for the rib dinner.'

'If I had to assign a number between 1 and 10, I'd give it a 9. Room was very clean, quite large (although that didn't really matter since we weren't in the room all that much) but most importantly, the shower was great! Oftentimes, the shower in a hotel is a letdown and leaves me feeling a bit unsatisfied, but the showers at this particular location were fantastic.'

'We stayed only 1 night. Really a nice and comfi room. Really loved it.'

'Let me start by saying every staff member I met during my week stay were all wonderful. However, this hotel has a nerve charging a "$45.95 per day resort fee"! This is a glorified motel that smells like feet, dogs, a high-school loccer room and old cigarettes combined, no matter where you turn! The carpet in the room 212 was literally sticky! I stayed for a week, and the room wasn't cleaned once!!! Now let's turn our attention to the, "Green Bathtub", I mean the pool. Can we say fisheye lenses...

'Supposedly open during construction, drove there only to find out you can’t even see the entrance. Can’t stay if you can’t get in.'

'A pretty interesting stay. Expedia said check in was at 3, but when we arrived, a clearly posted sign said check in was 4. There was no one in the lobby and I had to press a button to ring for them. The man at the counter was nice enough, but he needed to go check to make sure our room was cleaned. We waited close to 10 minutes in the lobby before he returned. There was no A/C in the lobby and there were dehumidifiers running in the halls. When we checked in I was not asked for ID or a credit...

'Bathroom floors were dirty and sticky. Room was supposed to have blackout curtains…room had sun shining through the windows at 5:30AM. Awful!! Manager was very rude and said they knew the curtain wasn’t there/damaged and have a curtain on order - sorry that’s unacceptable for someone to stay in the room!! Never would stay there again.'
