  • Maak contact met vrienden en familie terwijl je koffie drinkt op de veranda en uitkijkt naar herten, wilde kalkoenen of kolibries. Deel wat van de vruchten van onze tuin en kook in de volledig uitgeruste keuken of grill op de veranda na wandelen, touren of gewoon rondhangen in een hangmat. Speel air hockey op zolder of spelletjes of maak een puzzel. Later, opwarmen bij de houtkachel, met een glas wijn of een boek, haal de chill uit in de hot tub of roer s'mores in de vuurplaats in de tuin en zie meer sterren dan ooit tevoren. Er zijn zoveel keuzes. . .

    Historisch Nederlands koloniaal huis gelegen op 2 deuren van de Stenen Kerk, gelegen op een gazon van meer dan 2 hectare met inheemse soorten tuinen, een vuurplaats en een bubbelbad met plaats voor 6 personen. Er is een aparte garage en een onopvallende huurder boven de garage die u zelden zult zien.

    In de buurt van wijnpaden, wandelpaden en Sam's Point Preserve. 45 minuten naar New Paltz, 10 minuten naar Ellenville of Pine Bush om te winkelen of dineren.

    Ideaal voor ontspanning, familie tijd en bezoeken met goede vrienden.

Gorgeous Mountain top setting in Historic town! Plenty of space for both activities and solitude with a large group. Definitely would recommend it!

Beautiful, comfortable place with a well stocked kitchen and lots of charm! It was absolutely frigid all weekend - so we got to spend all day inside in front of the fire (except for the time we spent in the hot tub!). I'll definitely be escaping here again soon!

Diane was great checking in on me to make sure check in went well, had all the kitchen and laundry items and amenities you can think of. The house and scenary are awesome also. Would love to stay again!

We loved staying at Diane’s property. It was a wonderful location, great accommodations for us and the other family we were traveling with. We enjoyed taking the short walk down the road to the stone church and taking in the beautiful views. And we had perfect weather to enjoy the many decks! We also appreciated the nice touches like labeling where things were, and having two coffee makers! Diane was super responsive when we had questions, but we didn’t have many because she provided great information up front. We would love to stay here again!

A lovely and welcoming environment. The wrap around deck is well laid out, with comfortable seating, shade when you need it, a big outdoor dining table and grill. We spent considerable time in all of those areas. The view from the house of the flower gardens, distant hills and seemingly endless lawn and tall trees is like a painting from the Hudson River School of artists. The inside is filled with comfortable seating and plenty of it. The beds, bedding and towels are all high quality. The kitchen is really well equipped and no matter what we wanted to cook, we could! A (really)short stroll brings you to the old stone church, which is itself beautiful but also has an astounding view across the valley north into the hills and mountains. Very grateful to have benefited from the home these welcoming hosts have shared.

We loved our stay here! The house is as advertised if not better. We had 9 guests and could comfortably fit all into beds, in the living room, and at the dining room table. The kitchen was well stocked and all appliances work smoothly. Diane did a great job of providing clear, fulsome instructions to use everything. Neighborhood is great and there are fun things to do nearby. Couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay!

Just about everything you could ever need was provided! Comfy beds! My only suggestion is that during the winter months they get the house warmed up prior to arrival. It was in the mid-50s when we arrived and we shivered in our winter coats for hours before it finally warmed up. After that, it was fine, though. Beautiful grounds and very comfortable!

I stayed at the property with colleagues from work for a work event. The house is lovely, very homey, and spacious. Lovely garden and huge deck. The area is gorgeous. The host was great.

Exactly What We Needed

We had a wonderful time staying at this property. Outside grounds are beautiful and has everything you could ever want/need to enjoy hanging out with family and friends. Kitchen is well stocked and house is super homey and comfy. Host is super communicative and friendly. If we are ever up in that area again, we will definitely be coming back here.

Family Mountain Escape

The property was nestled away in quiet Cragsmoor with easy access to hiking and other towns. The outdoor decks were a huge plus to this property, especially the side deck that offered shade in the morning to enjoy a cup of coffee. The kitchen and bathrooms were generally stocked. We would definitely stay here again!

If you want to see the stars at night like you can reach out and touch them, if you want a place that is so quiet you can hear the birds breathing, if you want walk a hundred feet to the edge of the mountain, sit beside a 130 year old church and drink your coffee while looking at the beautiful foliage, if you want to see the deer and the foxes or an occasional bear (harmless) then this is the place for you. Make a fire at night in the pit or inside in the wood stove... grab your beverage of preference and relax... you may not even see a car drive by all day.

Awesome House for a group

This place was fantastic and comfortable for our group of (adult) students who were attending a program locally in Cragsmoor. Diane had thorough instructions for everything in the house--the only hiccup was the checkin (somehow we never received the door code) but Diane was responsive on the phone and helped us right away.

My partner and I stayed at this property with 5 other of our closest friends over the long MLK Weekend. We’ve been doing this annually trip for many years now and this home was one of our favorite places we’ve ever stayed! Communication/check-in was thorough and easy thanks to Diane. The house has a perfect blend of lived-in character with thoughtful and well-maintained amenities for guests. We spent most of our time reading and listening to records, hanging out in the living room by the wood-burning fireplace, enjoying a snowy, magical dip in the hot tub, and cooking elaborate meals in the kitchen, which had pretty much all basic supplies we needed. The beds were very comfortable and the staircase with beautiful banister made it feel like we were all home for the holidays together. Gorgeous snowfall and some sweet canoodling foxes running through the woods really set the backdrop for a trip we won’t forget.We can’t wait to come back, maybe in the summer when we can enjoy the property and nearby hiking options!

The house is beautiful and full of character that takes years of living and care to create. The deck in the back was breathtaking. The location--a short walk to The Stone Church, a short drive to hiking, to a state park with ice caves, to Ellenville--was excellent. Everything from utensils to games to staple items and towels was extremely well marked and well stocked. We loved our time at this home. This house was a wonderful temporary home for our family reunion. The matriach of our family grew up at her family's hotel just outside of Ellenville: until this visit, she had not spent significant time in the area since the 1960's. Being back was special for her, and for all of us. Thank you.

Our stay was okay overall, but the home was not a particularly comfortable fit for our family.The porch and surrounding gardens were beautiful and were easily the highlights of the property. However, the inside of the house was very cluttered with antiques, trinkets, and personal belongings. We never really felt like there was enough open space to unpack and settle in, so we kept most of our things together in one central location throughout the stay.We also noticed quite a bit of pet hair and dust around the home. There was opened food left in the refrigerator and pantry. While we understand that this may have been intended as a convenience for guests, our family was not comfortable using it, and it took up much of the available storage space.Our biggest concern was that we were not told beforehand that Bob, a tenant, lived above the shared garage on the property. There was also a different vehicle in the shared driveway on several days. As a father traveling with daughters, learning about the additional resident only after arriving made me uncomfortable. This arrangement should have been clearly disclosed in the listing or communicated before check-in.We did not raise these concerns with Diane during the stay, so she did not have an opportunity to address them at the time. We had already paid, were away from the property for much of each day, and decided to make the best of the trip.

Location, location, location! Beautiful and quiet area. The host was communicative and kept us well educated throughout our stay. She is very generous with supplies. My 4 star rating on cleanliness is only for the many items already in the home. We did not have closet space to hang items in the already small closets because they were full. It would not been an issue but we had a lot of clothes since we were in a wedding party. The home was clean but a bit cluttered for my taste but this home is divided between being rented and lived in, so i get it. The home is very charming and hardwood floors throughout. If you want quiet and on top of a mountain, with wonderful places to walk and enjoy peace, this is for you! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you, Diane for everything!
