'Na een drukke dag is het prettig aankomen in Lathones : zeer vriendelijk onthaal en mooie kamers met eigen tuintjes waar we van de september zon genoten . Er is een pub net naast de balie waar je zeer lekker kan eten voor een schappelijke prijs : wij betaalden 25£ voor een perfekt gebakken duiven borst gevolgd door een heerlijke beef Pie met knapperig gekookte groenten... Heerlijk. St Andrews is dichtbij en een paar uurtjes rijden van Aberdeen .'
