Our 2,400 square foot custom timber frame log home sits on 20 acres near the banks of the Rio Grande River. If you are looking for the ultimate outdoor escape or to curl up, relax, and take in the unmatched views of the La Garita Mountains and Bristol Head, our home has it all. Our log cabin home features two bedrooms, a large sleeping loft, and 2.5 baths, with lots of gathering space for family and friends. Our home is just a short walk to a secluded and stunning stretch of the Gold Waters of the Rio Grande River.

Our home is only 10 minutes from the historic mining town of Creede, less than one hour to Wolf Creek Ski area, and 30 minutes to Rio Grande Club in South Fork for a round of golf. Our home is pet-friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs, and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max of $250 per stay).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Cancellation Policy: A non-refundable payment of $300 is required at the time of booking. This $300 payment is applied toward the total amount due and is only refundable within 72 hours of the time the booking is made. If your arrival date is within 30 days of booking, you will need to pay in full at the time of booking. Cancellations or changes to stay dates, including changes that result in a shortened stay, are not permitted within 30 days of arrival, and any will result in a penalty. Cancellations or changes made within thirty (30) days of the arrival date forfeit the entire reservation amount. In contrast, cancellations made more than thirty (30) days before your arrival only forfeit the $300 payment made at the time of booking. For reservations that are at least thirty (30) nights, the cancellation policy above increases to sixty (60) days before the arrival date. We do offer travel insurance.
