Beautifully renovated ski in ski out condo in Mt. CB with a hot tub!

Please note that the hot tubs at Emmons and Axtell will close on Monday, April 7th, which is the day after the last day of Crested Butte Mountain Resort’s ski season.
The tubs will reopen on June 1st for the summer season.

This beautifully renovated and redecorated 1 bedroom 1 bathroom unit is located slope side at the Mt. Crested Butte base area. A short skip to several restaurants and bars at the base, literally steps to the lifts and a very short walk to the free shuttle that can take you to Historic Downtown Crested Butte. New high end finishes include granite countertops, in-floor heating, stainless steel appliances (refrigerator is a mini fridge) and a beautifully renovated bathroom.There is also a washer/dryer in the unit. The large deck has a view of Mt. CB, a grill and plenty of room to hang out with friends or family when the weather permits. Enjoy soaking in the common area hot tub after a day on the slopes or the biking/hiking trails! This unit sleeps 3 comfortably with a queen bed in the bedroom and a couch that pulls out to a twin size bed, perfect for one small adult or child.

For streaming services, bring your own ROKU or HDMI cable to attach to your computer. This unit doesn't have streaming services but you are welcome to bring your own.

**Please note that there are 2 flights of stairs up to this unit and no elevator.**

**Please be aware that the hot tub is closed during the off seasons. It is open during the peak season when the Crested Butte Mountain Resort is open.**

**We require one of two options for you regarding damage protection. We recommend you purchase damage protection for $45. This covers you for up to $3,000 in damages that could occur to the property during your stay. Or you can choose to pay a $1000 refundable damage deposit. When booking directly online please let us know in the notes which option you would like.**

PARKING: Only 1 vehicle is permitted to park on site, in designated lot.

**Please be aware that parking is very limited in this complex with a very small lot out front. Each unit in Emmons is only allowed one parking permit, therefore only one legal car allowed to park in that lot. It is first come, first serve. There is some overflow parking available and we can provide you with a map of the location of these areas. Unfortunately, trialers, RV's or any recreational vehicles are not allowed in either the lot or the overflow parking areas. If you plan to bring any of those items/vehicles, please arrange for special parking through Crested Butte Mountain Resort Adventure Center Concierge Desk.

*First Tracks is a free shuttle service that will transport you to and from the base area during the winter and summer months. All of the information you need is located in the property binder once you arrive.

Incredible location, steps from the lift.

Can't say enough about the proximity to the lifts, just walk downstairs and straight out and up the mountain! You can see the lift from your windows. The size was fine for my wife and I and being able to drop back in for lunch between runs was convenient. The stop to take the shuttle into downtown was also extremely close. The unit is upstairs so there is a bit of work to get your luggage from your car into the unit. A new shower head would be nice. The kitchen allowed us to store and cook our own food. The entrance to the unit is around the right side of the building so don't try to enter right by the parking lot (which we did when we arrived at 10:30pm). Laundry in the unit was another great convenience and the balcony was a good spot to store our skis & snowboard to save space inside. There is no door between the bedroom and the living space. Overall we were very happy with our stay and highly recommend this unit!

Perfect location for downhill biking & hopping on shuttle

This condo is perfectly situated near the chairlift for downhill biking and only a short walk to the nearest shuttle down to CB. This is our 2nd time staying in this condo. It is well suited for a couple. Clean condo, plenty of linens and great communication.

Crested Butte Summer Stay

Property fit our needs perfectly! Summer weekend get away and easy access to all mountain and town had to offer. Should stress the ease of access to town with the shuttle system for those staying in summer. Quick access to slopes has this on our list for our next ski adventure. Thanks for sharing!

Wow so close to ski lifts

Omg… so close! 150 steps to be precise. The instructions on how to find the place were excellent. Super clean and nice. Only recommendation is to add another pan ( large) and a strainer (for pasta) the kitchen utensils.

We absolutely loved staying at this place. It was very clean and has exactly what we needed. The TV in the bedroom could stand to be updated but that would be the only suggestion I would have. We were right next to the lift and could see it from our room. We will definitely stay here again.

Great unit, super convenient, comfortable

This is a great unit in a very very convenient location, literally steps to the Red Lady chair! The unit was clean and orderly and comfortable. The only two things that bear mentioning, the humidifier needs to be thrown away! It not only leaks, but simply does not work! The other thing is that the freezer door fell off (freezer is in the refrigerator box) which causes EVERYTHING in the refrigerator to freeze, no matter how you set the temperature. Just be aware. Aside from that, I’d highly recommend the property and would/will return!

Great week on the Mountain!

My husband and I enjoyed our week on the Mountain. We hated to check out! What a great location! You can sleep in and walk straight to the lift. Walk back for a quick break or lunch. Easy walk to dinner or the town shuttle. The unit was perfect for us! We'll stay here again for sure :)!

CB Condo Review

My daughter and I came down for a ski race and stayed at the condo. It was perfect. Very comfortable and the lay out was perfect. The kitchen was fully stocked and everything was very clean. The hot tub was nice too after a long day.

Ski Trip

Excellent location for ski trip to Crested Butte. Lift is outside your door essentially. We could easily ski down for lunch and eat on balcony (spring skiing of course) and then go back out to the hill. Condo is well kept and comfortable. Has a real wood fireplace and wood was provided, nice surprise. Parking was fine outdoors. Certainly would rent again. Worked well for 3 people jn a family

Location CANNOT be beat!!!

This amazing little condo has everything you need to enjoy some time in the mountains. It’s within a 2 minute walk to the town shuttle. There are 2 bars/restaurants in eyesight of the balcony. Several gear rental places in walking distance. Truly could not be a better location! Room was equipped with all of the essentials. Host was very responsive and helpful.

Great location, clean, pleasing to the eye

We cooked in the kitchen and found it to be normal size and fully stocked with all the nonperishable items you would need to cook almost anything. The refrigerator is on the small side, but really pretty roomy. Make sure you turn it down as it froze everything in the back of it on most of the shelves. The bathroom is fine and the shower is great. The bed is not great. Too soft and shaky for the two of us. The T.V.'s have not been updated since the last complaint. They are small, and no connection to the internet/ access your favorite Netflix show. Also, know the name of the street in the driving instructions are the name of the building. There is a parking lot for the building right after the "Welcome" bridge and you can at least get out and find the apartment if there is no parking. We had a great stay here and if they upgrade the bed to a comfy King bed, we will happily return.

Small condo, good location

This condo is ~100 yards from the lift. The bed is comfortable. That's the positives. Understand before you book that it's TINY. The kitchen resembles a wet bar. The bathroom is next to the kitchen, not the bedroom. The fridge is tiny and erratic in cooling. There are many stairs to reach it, and no elevator. The decor is circa 2005. No shampoo or lotion provided. It's basic accommodation, little more.

A place to lay my head at night

This property is cute and nice. We booked our trip with lots of plans made so we did not spend much time in the room, in fact it really was just a place to sleep at night. The place is small and so are the tvs so if you are going and planning to spend time in the room than this is not the place for you. However the bed is comfy and the patio is great. The shower is a nice stream shower but it has very light water pressure. Check in time is late and yet check out time is early, that is really my only complaint. It would have been great to be able to sleep in and not rush to get out on our last day.

Beautiful Property - Horrible Communication

We were very excited to spend our anniversary on Mt Crested Butte and wanted a relaxing stay of movie watching and hot tub soaking. Both of these amenities were listed in the rental and were big reasons for us to choose this listing. There were 3 tissues in the box in the bathroom with the top one made fancy by housekeeping. Tough for someone with allergies after you use those 3 and there are none left. Also, just one trash can for the whole unit? Nothing in the bathroom? Once we arrived, we had to search around the property to find the hot tub and when we finally found it, there was a big lock on it. Next we found that there was no DVD player as listed and so the stack of movies we brought to watch was for nothing. We called the property management number in our booking confirmation and they are closed on the weekends. Called the emergency number and the man that answered only handles maintenance emergencies. He said he'd reach out someone to see about getting the hot tub unlocked for us and we heard nothing again. We called two more times over our three day stay and it was silent. We were told that there would be an amenity refund per day that we are expecting to receive as we are very disappointed with how the weekend unfolded. It's very unfortunate as we loved the actual unit but chose to spend time away from it instead as we had to change our plans.

Good spot for a couple

Overall great location but really should just be for two. Couch/pull out not a legitimate third sleeping area, even throw pillows had sandpaper feel covers. Also had to watch traditional cable tv, no ESPN, no smart tv or adapter. Google chrome or fire stick is $20 would be easy upgrade. Location on mountain can’t be beat.
