Verblijf in het hart van de historische wijk Crested Butte's

Ons huis ligt in het hart van de historische wijk Crested Butte's. Het werd gebouwd in het begin van 1900 maar we liefdevol gerestaureerd in het afgelopen jaar, hergebruik van materialen en het behoud van het eigenzinnige charme. De vloeren hebben een patina ontwikkeld over bijna 100 jaar, maar we hebben de oude winderige gaten dat de oude mijnwerkers gaf een chill aangesloten.

Na een lange dag skiën u uw pijn en pijn kunnen verzachten in de klauw voet bad of lopen naar boven en neem snel een stoomdouche. Als u terugkomt van het diner op de stad kunt u genieten van de vloerverwarming en kunnen overschakelen op het oude gas open haard. De kamers hebben een prachtig uitzicht van de gotische, Mount Crested Butte, Mt Emmons en de bank waar de Crested Buttes geliefde Coal werd gedolven.

Charming Cottage Close to Town

We loved this house! We could walk to the Nordic Center, catch the shuttle to the base, restaurants and shops. The mudroom was so great for storing all the gear. Kitchen was well stocked and appliances very new/clean. I loved the charming decor and the cozy fireplace!

Great house as described. Up side- location. Down side- location. Convenient to Main Street but loud being in alley off of main. Master bedroom bed needs replaced immediately, extremely uncomfortable. Temperature was in high 80’s and no air conditioning. Ceiling fans would be easy fix. Over all, good experience😊

Charming home in Crested Butte

We enjoyed staying in this charming home. We have stayed in probably 50 homes in CB and this one was just as charming as the others. We don't come to CB looking for the Ritz. We come to enjoy the mountains, hike, bike, fish, raft, shop, etc. The street was lovely and not too loud at night. Parking was great. It was clean and kept up to date....so we were happy.

Charming home

Our family was in town for a wedding, having never been to Crested Butte. We were delighted to arrive at this adorable cottage-like home nestled in the grid of streets that comprise the colorful, historic "downtown" area. Everything in the home was clean and functional - which was essential - but on top of that, all of the carefully chosen antique/upcycled pieces and carefully crafted renovations sparked joy. From the iron work circular staircase (do not recommend for disabled access), to the sliding barn-style doors, to the marble bathroom vanity and old world tiled floor - there was charm at every turn. Also, modern, attractive conveniences where they were needed, like steam shower and major appliances. Communication with host and check in were seamless, and walking access to everything (amazing shops and restaurants) except maybe the ski area doubled the enjoyment of the home. Thank you for sharing your home and making us tourists feel like we'd had an authentic Crested Butte experience.

Fantastic house situated right in town. Everything conveniently located right outside the door. All restaurants on Elk street and bus to the mountain are a very short walk away. No need for a car. House very comfortable and well equipped to eat in and hang out by the fire. Highly recommend.

Wonderful Stay

Location! Location! You really can not beat this location. We enjoyed walking in all the fresh snow covered to the local shops and restaurants. The house was cozy and had so many amenities. It was very well stocked! The beds were all very firm and the staircase was not for the faint at heart. We would definitely stay here again!
