'Perfect for a solo retreat! I needed some relaxing time alone in the woods (in a beautiful maple forest, no less), but still wanted to be somewhat close to civilization, and this was the spot! I got such refreshing, restful sleep every night in this absolutely quiet, tiny (but airy) playhouse of a cottage, thanks to the super cozy and comfy bed! It was all just so sweet—even if, as I did, you just want to hang out and read as you listen to the rain all day. Grand Marais is only eighteen minutes...

'If you're looking for a glamping type experience, this is a great place to stay! We found the cabin to be very clean and comfortable. The location is great, it's only a few minutes into Grand Marais, and it's very convenient for the boundary waters. The host is friendly and very helpful. Would highly recommend.'

'We really enjoyed our stay at this off-grid cabin. We chose it because it was close to some hikes that we wanted to do. We made foil dinner packets to cook over the fire pit, and loved sitting outside looking at the stars. There was a chance of seeing the Northern Lights, but we never saw any. 'Our stay at this private end condo at Terrace Point was exquisite and just as described! The place is nestled on a gorgeous cove on Lake Superior and is charming, clean, and quiet! Just what we wanted. It is just a few minutes outside of town, so very private indeed, And close to many beautiful sites, like waterfalls and mountainous panoramic views, hiking trails, and waterfalls. 'Tremendous long weekend in Grand Marais, really enjoyed the layout and amenities of the house, as well as being so close to downtown making walking extremely easy.Hosts were extremely communicative and gave us some great ideas for our trip with local favorites and great hiking trails.'
