'We loved our stay in Doolin! These lodges were a perfect home base for exploring this area. We visited the Cliffs of Moher, the Aran Islands, the Burren. Our lodge was so close to the Cliffs of Moher, we even went twice, because the cliffs are so beautiful, we couldn’t get enough. There are lots of pubs and places to eat nearby, and the lodge itself is equipped with everything for cooking. 'Ariana is enthusiastic and welcoming. Her advice led me to Murrooghtoohy for a beautiful view in the Barren. She provided detailed information ahead of time. One suggestion. Her directions indicated that her house was the second one past the church; the distance past the first house is hundreds of yards, so keep going even though it looks like you might have missed it. I recommend staying here. '

'Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were.
