"Our stay at Munck Maya Calakmul was our second time at a Mundo Maya hotel during this trip — and once again, it impressed. The hotel is beautifully designed with lots of thoughtful details and plenty of comfortable spots to relax. The pool at the top was nice, though a bit too warm, with limited shade and no open bar, which was a small disappointment. The room was clean, spacious, quiet, and pleasantly cool. The price-quality ratio is excellent. The food, however, really doesn’t match the hotel’s style — it’s mediocre and overpriced, and the service was below the standard you’d expect for such a design-focused hotel. If the dining experience matched the quality of the hotel and staff were more attentive, this place would be perfect. Overall, a stylish and comfortable stay, but the restaurant experience brings it down."
