It was nice. The layout of the rooms are quite different. The bed is pretty hard and stiff. Overall, it was a nice stay.

We loved this place, we were treated like at home. The room was amazingly pretty. There is hot water, you just have to run it for a few minutes until it’s very hot. Carol was very attentive and friendly.

Where to start... Location is great, very walkable and tours will pick you up from the hotel. Hotel appears cute but is still under construction and is very noisy from around 7am-8pm, as well as dusty and had a strong aroma that can cause a headache 2 out of our 6 night stay. Our room was downstairs and it sounded like elephants were living above us. Luckily we aren't very light sleepers though this would be a problem for some. Staff don't speak english but you can communicate via google translate, we unfortunately became very sick 4 days into our stay so were basically bed ridden for 2 days, they tried to access our room multiple times on the first sick day even after we told them no, they were trying to unlock the door and gain access even though we were clearly in there!? There's no option for no cleaning and I wish there was. Staff threw out paintings we had purchased from a local as they thought it was rubbish (wrapped up in a cardboard cylinder.) Toilet had a gross smell wafting out of it randomly (prior to us becoming sick), hot water was hit and mess and bed wasn't comfortable. They say they will take care of your laundry - I asked for this service twice and was blown off and told to go down the road.

Cute, great location, but so loud can't sleep.
Don't stay here if you would like to get any sleep. My boyfriend and I were given a room downstairs that shared a wall with the restaurant kitchen next door. The walls are paper thin so we heard banging pots & pans until 11pm when we had to get up very early for scheduled activities. There were also people coming in and out of the hotel talking very loud at all hours of the night. The main door on the street remains locked 24/7 but there is a doorbell for non-guests who are checking in etc. Drunk (I assume) people walking back from a night out would ring it all night long. That said, the property is very cute and clean. Location is great, 5 minute walk to City Square. Staff were very friendly and accommodating despite the lack of English spoken. I hate to give this place a negative review but I literally did not get any sleep during our three night stay and that's a pretty important part of booking a hotel.

Primero que nada Carol fue una excelente anfitriona y nos ayudó con todo a cualquier hora. La propiedad se ve un poco vieja y descuidada. En cuanto a la limpieza notamos algunos detalles como camas sucias, colchas manchadas y hormigas. Fuera de eso la propiedad cuenta con todo lo necesario además de que está muy bien situada a solo unas calles de la plaza principal. Las camas estaban muy cómodas y el departamento contaba con todo lo necesario.

Nice boutique hotel for a family -‘great location
Our family of 5 stayed here before and after a 5 day Salkantay Trek. They held our luggage and we had laundry done after our trek for 8 sol per kg. Everyone was wonderful and the location is excellent. I would stay here again.

Overall everyone was very friendly. I enjoyed how much space the room had and the location was great. Some dislikes were the unit did not have heating or cooling. We were able to get a space heater to stay warm. The units all face a courtyard which is nice, but could get noisy. Lastly, if you want hot water you will need to let the host know ~30 minutes in advance.

Muy buen hotel. Muy buena ubicacion en el Centro Historico de Cusco. Muy buena relacion entre calidad/precio. El staff es excelente sobre todo Karol, esta muchacha es super atenta, cordial y esta pendiente de todo y de que estes comodo durante toda tu estancia. Las unicas cosas negativas fueron que tienen una gatita muy linda y graciosa pero nos orinó la maleta y que el baño de la habitacion era demasiado pequeño. Por lo demas, es una excelente elección.

This is a small hotel in a Spanish Colonial home. All the rooms open into a covered courtyard. It is in the heart of Cuzco's historic district conveniently close to shopping, restaurants, and historic sites. There is no parking, but if you have ever been to Cusco, you realize that driving in Cusco is better left to professional taxi drivers who are relatively inexpensive and understand how to drive on Cuzco's narrow crowed streets. The hotel was clean, the staff was responsive and accommodating. If I ever return to Cusco, I would definitely try to stay here.

Staffs goes above and beyond. Extremely accommodating. Even checked in on me while I was sick. Just a lovely staff. My room had a mini fridge, microwave and utensils. A block and a half from the main square. Next to restaurants, etc

Our bed sheets had many hairs and visible bed bugs possibly lice on arrival. They were extremely slow to change the beds and made us wait at 1am in the morning. No apologies were made the next day

We had a wonderful stay. Location is everything! Portions in Peru are pretty large so it was nice having a fridge and microwave in the room for those left overs. Would stay again.

Casa Cavassa esta en una casona antigua cuyas las habitaciones y departamentos cuentan con todo lo necesario para pasar una corta o larga estadia. Los departamentos cuentan con una estufa increible. Todo esta decorado con buen gusto y la cocina y el baño son modernos. Las habitaciones son silenciosas lo cual nos sorprendio por la cercania a la plaza. Auribel fue de gran ayuda y hizo todo lo posible para ayudarnos en todo lo que pudo. No lo duden es un excelente lugar.

Super séjour au cœur du centre historique de Cusco
Situé au cœur du centre historique de Cusco l'hotel Casa Cavassa est un lieu très agréable et décoré avec goût. Le personnel est très agréable et compétent et a tout fait pour nous rendre le séjour des plus agréables. Super petit déjeuner apporté en chambre. Les équipements de cuisine et salle de bain sont très bien.

Au cœur du centre historique avec un service parfa
Placé idéalement au cœur du centre historique de Cusco l'hotel Casa Cavassa a été une superbe expérience pour nous. Le lieu est décoré avec goût, le personnel est très agréable et compétent et a tout fait pour rendre notre séjour agréable. Les équipements de la chambre étaient très bien que ce soit la salle de bains ou la cuisine. On a vraiment apprécié le séjour dans ce superbe établissement. e petit déjeuner en chambre était complet et très bon.

This beautiful hotel is immaculate with well-appointed rooms. Located in the historic center of Cuzco, all the sights are within easy walking distance. Rooms are located on several floors around a central courtyard, which means rooms are subject to noise of passing guests. We stayed in the 2-storey family room, with 5 beds and a kitchenette. There are 2 different family-style rooms, both of which we used. We much preferred room 202, which was quieter. Breakfast is not included. Recommend.

Lo mejor de el hotel es el precio y el espacio que recibes tienes justo lo necesario ni mas ni menos, todo es muy nuevo, limpio y acogedor, es una buena opcion para quedarse en Cusco. Ademas el muchacho de recepción siempre nos trato muy bien y nos dio buenas recomendaciones para visitar en la ciudad. La unica recomendacion seria poner un letrero afuera con el nombre del hotel aunque sea pequeño que te ubique un poco donde esta el hotel porque al principio puede ser confuso incluso para los de los tours. Pero todo excelente, muy recomendado.

Ubicación estratégica 👍
Aunque la primera noche tuvimos un inconveniente con la habitación, nuestra estadía fue más q satisfecha. La ubicación es estratégica pues te permite estar cerca a todo. Las habitaciones bastante amplias, cómodas y limpias. Agradezco mucho a la administración por imprimir mis tickets aéreos, muy amables.
