It's a little off the beaten track but we enjoyed the walking in to town. It gave us the opportunity to see the city. The staff were very friendly and helpful. It's pretty basic but clean and comfortable. We'd stay there again.

I really appreciated the fun, relatively quiet atmosphere. The only complaint I had was that the water in the shower was either scalding hot or freezing cold and changed randomly. The staff was very helpful, however, and we received free taxi service to and from the airport because we were changed from the original Casa de Mamá to the Recoleta due to construction.

It smelled oddly of smoke. It was freezing cold, and the comforter was too dirty for me to want to pull up too close to my face. At least there was hot water.

Great hotel, located very close to sights!
Nice breakfast in the mornings. Rooms can get a bit hot or cold. Very basic room, TV doesn't work. But overall, great value for the price!

La ubicación del hotel es céntrica, pero es un poco difícil llegar porque son muy estrechas las calles y circulan continuamente automóviles. El Hotel tiene buena atención, limpio en general aunque la habitación tenía problemas con las llaves de la bañera, daban o agua muy caliente o agua fría, sin punto intermedio. El desayuno es sencillo y preparado al momento.

THE HOTEL IS LOCATED ON A DIRTY STREET WITH PILES OF GARBAGE IN THE CORNER, NOT ACCESIBLE BY CAR. THE CAR CAN NOT REACH THE ENTRANCE OF THE HOTEL. THE NEIGHBORHOOD IS TERRIBLE AND DANGEROUS. THE ROOMS BELONG TO A HALF STAR HOTEL. IMMEDIATELY AFTER CHECKING THE LOCATION,CONDITION OF THE ROOM AND STREET I INSTRUCTED MY TAXI TO TAKE US TO ANOTHER HOTEL. I CANCELLED MY RESERVATION IN PERSON AND BY EMAIL TO EXPIDIA. I STAYED AT THE EUREKA HOSTAL

Dear Sir, it is a pitty that the opinion of the taxi driver press to you to change your mind before to staying with us. I think you can not say that our neighborhood is dangerous without stying with us, its is obvious that a driver who receive comissions from anothers hotels gives his personal opinions. We really regrette your bad opinion.

Buena opción por el precio y ubicación, solo es importante aclarar a los turistas que los coches no llegan a la puerta, por lo que el equipaje hay que cargarlo casi 100 metros

キッチンにガス、冷蔵庫、電子レンジ、もちろん水道も有り、自由に使わせてもらえました。とっても助かりました。2日とも、朝04:30・04:00の出発でしたが、ちゃんとフロントに起きてきて、ドアを開けてくれました。

La habitacion fue comoda, el personal con excelente calidad y muy serviciales. Pero la calle recoleta para llegar al hotel es peatonal es larga y esta llena de desechos y malos olores. No es nada agradable

Staff were friendly and email communication was very good. Hotel was located down a quiet alley way approx 10 minutes walk rom the centre. Room was clean. Breakfast was a basic, simple bread/eggs and coffee. As a overnight stay before embarking on one of the many trips i.e machu piichu this was a good, inexpensive , basic and safe hotel.

About a 15 minute walk from main squares. It was in a bit of a sketchy area, but the security was great. Staff friendly and accommodating

Would not stay there again. Hotel in poor condition and located down an alley that one has to dodge the dog droppings (be extra vigilant in your dodging at night). Reasonably close but still a walk to the center.

Casa de Mamá é muito simples, porém o atendimento foi muito bom. Deixamos as malas guardas no hotel para fazermos pernoite em outras cidades e foram de extrema confiança.

Aconchego com simplicidade
O Hotel Casa da Mamá não pode ser considerado um hotel de luxo. Pelo contrário é um hotel muito simples, porém muito aconchegante. A alegria com que os funcionários nos atentem é simplesmente fora do comum. Sempre com sorrido no rosto. Sua localização é num lugar bem tranquilo e não muito distante do centro e da Praça das armas de Cuzco. Eu recomendo. Para quem num busca luxo e quer pagar o justo para estar em Cuzco é uma boa pedida. Valeu minha estadia por lá.

ホテル情報がだいぶ違いました
まず駅への送迎が無料と書いてあるにも関わらず12ソルとられました。送迎依頼のメールも2度送ったのに無視。心配になり宿泊日前日に泊まっていたホテルの方に確認の電話してもらったところワンチャック駅から遠くないから歩いてこいとのこと。なのに夜に12ソルで迎えに行くとメールが入り無料ではないのかときいたところそんなことで口論したくないとばっさり。またホテル内のwifiは故障中で使えませんでした

Very pleasant.
Took a double room both before and after doing the Inca trail. Staff were very welcoming and easy going. The hotel is located a few blocks from plaza de armas down a quiet alleyway. Beds and pillows were of excellent quality, ensuring a great sleep. WiFi in the rooms is sketchy, but I have come to expect that in south america. Breakfast was standard fare except for the coffee which was delicious and very strong. A happy stay.

Disappointed
The hotel shouldn't be rated 3 stars it is more like a 2 stars hotel. They still have a big problem with the hot water and I say still because I saw the same complaint in prior reviews. The location is not bad it is fairly close to the main plaza.

Hidden Cusco gem!
I had a great stay at Casa de Mama. Melba is an absolute delight, she knows all the best places to shop, and breakfast is really good. The rooms were spotless, the service awesome. Wifi signal is strong, the common room is comfortable, and the location is great. Close to everything, but not on one of the main plazas so there's a cost savings. I would definitely stay here again.

Great, central hotel with friendly, helpful staff.
Wow! What a great experience at Casa de Mama, Recoleta. The location is great, you are a very short walk from the Plaza de Armas and St. Blas area. It served as a perfect base for us as we traveled throughout Southern Peru. We were able to keep our stuff with them when we went out on multi-day adventures and they always had a smile on their face when we returned. The staff were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The rooms are better than I expected for the price, some have excellent views, and it was very comfortable. Breakfasts were basic but fresh and tasty. I wouldn't stay anywhere else in Cusco.

Highly recommend
Its halfway down a pedestrian only alleyway. Not the best looking area but felt perfectly safe. About 5ish minutes to plaza de armas. The employees were extremely friendly. Room was clean with a comfortable memory foam mattress. The bathroom had great water pressure with lots of hot water. The WiFi also worked well. This was the best hotel we stayed in throughout Peru.

stayed total 3 nights, 2 diff times, so 2 diff rooms. First room did not get hot water, second room ok. First room beds were not comfortable, 2nd better. It gets pretty cold...Staff is helpful, in booking cabs, answering questions, etc.
