We have been very pleased with Donnie and his wife, she came for a few days, and his dog, during all stay, as our guests. He is the ideal guest! Communication has been great, so we were in the same page all the time. For a long stay like his, that is a good advise, asking the host and establish open communication. He has been so kind as to fix the patio door, which wasn't sliding as smoothly. Donnie followed thoroughly house rules and took care of the place like his own. We recommend him without reservations to other hosts, and he is definitively welcome back anytime he needs it.

We are sorry to read about your experience at our place, Emanuel. The positive thing is that you guys found the condo comfortable, clean and overall had a good stay inside the premises. About the events that you explained, despite being a confusing narration, I can take three episodes: a) golf carts making you feel uncomfortable at the fishing area, b) man with kids up in balcony, and c) lady trying to engage in conversation out of curiosity for your dogs. It would have been a great idea to tell me right away about the teenagers in golf carts episode, so I could call security. Also, you know there is security at the gate, and calling to tell them about threatening atmosphere would have been wise. Chandlers Landing HOA is proud of the safety of the neighborhood because of the 24/7 guarded gate, including two cars patrolling the community very frequently. In addition, the community has many amenities that neighbors and guests enjoy together. No guest of mine ever complained for feeling unsafe while using the outdoor amenities. However, I am sorry to hear about your episode, and I will be contacting the HOA office to let them know about the situation with golf carts in the fishing/beach area. Since I have this opportunity to respond to your review, I would like to add that I gave you 1 star because of the messy and very dirty condition I found the place in, not following house rules. On top of that, I need to start filing an insurance claim as the patio door is impossible to unlock and open. The latch is broken to the point that needs to be addressed by a professional. In other words, damages to the property, affecting other guests until problem can be addressed the following Monday (you left on Saturday morning). When we were checking the condo conditions the day that you were checking in, sliding patio door could be opened and closed, locked and unlocked; not after you guys checked out. If they ask me, I would not recommend this guest to other hosts.
