weekend in Dallas.
the area is not so good, too many vagrant looking people wandering around.not a great part of town. The desk help was very friendly and helpful. Was very clean . Bed was not the greatest, but acceptable i guess.

Specifically asked for an early check in and even messaged the hotel the night before asking about it as weil. My message never got a response. Called the morning of check in and was told just flat out no. Ive worked a hotel front desk and know 1st hand its not only not impossible but its relatively easily done. But they never even tried to accommodate my request. Not very good hospitality from the hospitality business.

Sec Guard loves bullying and beating up customers
The security guard did not like the look of my friend so he beat him up pretty bad. I felt unsafe and my friend who actually felt ok was the person who got hurt very bad. Was only told to gt off property and still waiting on refund.........

Check in was a hassle...wanted me to leave and get $20 for cash deposit...told them to charge it to my card since I already was about to pay and they told me to come back with cash

The whole experience was bad when I first pulled up he was in trying to unlock the door then when I was telling him about my reservation yet a whole attitude throughout it we both cancel agreement that I wasn’t gonna stay there when recommend this place for nobody

Well Maintained / Desk Staff All Business
I was very pleased to find that the kitchen had adequate cookware, utensils, etc., and that it was all clean and in good condition. I stayed in more than a half dozen hotels with kitchenettes during my late-summer travels, and this kitchen was in the best shape of them all. Sure, the accommodations here are rather spare, and the location is no natural beauty, but that is to be expected for the price. The front desk staff (I presume to be owner or owner's family) was all business -- no warmth, no pleasantries. I was asked for a deposit ($20 cash, if I remember correctly) when checking in. On checkout, the desk person actually went to the room and inspected it before returning my deposit. To me, this is satisfactory behavior if the result is a well-maintained room and contents.

Couldn't stay n still charged for the room!
I wasn't able to stay there due that the front desk person said it was under another name but I showed him my confirmation number. He got upset when I tried to ask him why n what sure I do. I didn't stay there n still was charged. Never again!!

arrived and hotel was over booked, and the hotels.com representative could not successfully find and alternative hotel to book, and i ended up paying out of pocket again even though i had already prepaid my room on hotels.com

Awesome at studio 6!!!
The studio 6 was great very quite and clean great laundry room ready to go back again real soon. Lots of stores and places to eat within 5-10 mins some even walking distance.

It was cute but the service could've been better.
The guy at the front desk was rude and kept cutting me off whenever i spoke. My room was very clean but the bed was uncomfortable. I could barely sleep.

You Get What You Pay For
The good: The price and convenient location. Also, the hotel is pet friendly. The bad: We reserved a smoking room with a king-sized bed. When we checked in, the manager informed us that Expedia had made a mistake, and he did not have the room we had reserved. So we accepted a queen smoking room. The pillows in the room were flat, so we asked one of the staff if we could have an additional two pillows. He said he would have to check with a supervisor. We never heard from him again. The bed was hard as a rock. Not firm, but hard. I called the front desk to get the wifi code, and they hung up on me. I tried again, was given a code that did not work. I decided it wasn't worth the effort and gave up.

It was absolutely horrible. The front desk guy was so rude when checking in. Horrible neighborhood, I cancelled my second night there and went somewhere else. I would never stay there again even if it was free.

A great value but a silly deposit policy.
This property is very convenient and easily accessible to all parts of Dallas. I would have rated it higher, were it not for a very foolish policy of charging a $20 cash deposit. As they already have your credit card, the cash deposit was not customer friendly. Checking out at 4:30 AM to catch an early flight was a hassle as to get my $20 back, the night clerk had to physically go back to the room to make sure I hadn't wrecked something. I would return if management dropped this practice and did what every other business does, put a small hold on my credit card.

They wouldn't acknowledge my booking through hotels.com and demanded that I pay again even though I had payment confirmation in hand. Rude people at the desk! awful experience.

Other than the rain,my stay was pretty good
My stay at studio 6 was was very good,the maid service was very professional the room was clean and they had a small kitchenette with a nice clean refrigerator,they also had pots,pans and silver ware ready for use
