This place was one of the best in the past. Not sure why they have dropped so much, but not the same. Bell Staff and Valet were still awesome on our Sunday night arrival, but right after we got inside the decline started being apparent…..

We went up for a one night getaway, stayed at he Joule. This was our 2nd time staying and it was just a great as the first. The first time was mid-summer and we googled Texas hotels w unique swimming pools! This time we got tickets to the Eye next door. The Eyeboretum event last night was an amazing , colorful, fun evening and hopefully we can make it next year! CBD restaurant and bar at the Joule is always good and the speakeasy - Cocktails - downstairs is a treat.

Lorenzo was a horrible person used foul language with me and threatened to call police after I spent over $4,000. He called me a slur. I will never EVER be staying here again. He said found additional charges a DAY after I checked out. What a horrible experience. I will never EVER stay here again.

I wasn’t impressed with this property for the price. The treadmills in the gym were squeaky, lighting in the room was dim, the shower head was broke in my bathroom, dining was limited and the coffee shop opened late.

The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. They booked dinner reservations, offered a driver to transport us to our destinations, and left little treats in our room while we were exploring the town. Everyone working there seemed to love their job, which is a huge reflection of how The Joule is ran. We will be returning every anniversary!

The artwork inside is cool. The staff is very friendly. The room was very nice. I think the bathroom was almost as big as the suite. Automatic light settings and shades. The shower is a bit confusing to figure out how to get hot water, but they have instructions on the table and if you look close you can see the hot cold arrows. They are small and hard to see.

At check in there was a large group part of a private party that was extremely loud. Staff kept telling them that the special event was next door not in lobby area but they wouldn’t budge. One of the men stood against me while I was giving a credit card to the staff. We didn’t even stand there long enough to find out the amenities because it was uncomfortable so we just went to our room. Room was ok at best. Uncomfortable bed. We stay at msny higher end properties in Dallas and can’t believe this one is in the same category.

The worst experience! I booked a night at this hotel for an early Valentine celebration with my husband. I booked over a month in advance. After booking a suite and making a dinner reservation. I attempted to book massages for myself and my husband at the spa. I left messages twice in a week before finally calling a third time and having the front desk put them on the line. They only had 1 spot left at that point and the women from the spa was not friendly at all and claimed they never received my voicemails. I booked the spot for my husband so he could enjoy the massage and figured I wanted to spoil him for Valentines so I didn’t need to have massage also. Upon arriving at the hotel to check in we were told our suite was not ready yet so we went to the bar to have a drink and wait for the room. After an hour wait went back to the front desk and were told the room had damages from the previous guest that they were trying to repair and offered to downgrade us until they could get our suite ready, they weren’t sure how long. I had booked what was suppose to be a Valentines relaxing staycation and from the very beginning it was anything but relaxing and a getaway. We only had one night and bouncing room to room barely time to relax before the rude spa service just felt off at this point. The front desk agreed cancel our reservation for us and said they would notify the spa to cancel. The spa charged us FULL PRICE! For the massage we never got and the room we never receive

Locked out of our room while spending $$$$ on brunch at the hotel restaurent. With full bellies, we were happy to be right on time to collect our bags & be on the road home, 30 mins BEFORE check out. When we went back to the room to pick up our already packed bags, it was locked. Housekeeping said we had to go to the front desk to get re-entry to our room. Back down we go to be allowed back into our room to get our bags, again this is 30 minutes BEFORE check out time. They said it is the hotel policy, news to us, must be in the pages of fine print no one reads. After finally getting our bags we road down the elevator with a couple saying they didn’t understand why their key didn’t work to open their room, they thought it was because the key was kept to close to their cell phone. Nope, hotel policy. At those prices, the Joule has added insult to an already bruised wallet. They will not get the opportunity to do that again. Never again.

The Joule is a jewel! My wife and I stayed in downtown Dallas recently, and this was our first time in the Joule. The hotel is beautiful in every way, but the best thing about this place was the people. From the people who went above and beyond to help us us at check-in, to the valets, to the servers in the on-site restaurant, the employees of The Joule are top-notch. I can't imaging staying anywhere else the next time we come back to Dallas.

Incredible vibe, lovely venue. Great spot to stay in downtown Dallas. My only complaint is that our shower not very warm. Yes, the heat was turned up all the way and we experimented a few times. Nonetheless, fantastic experience. Would stay again.

Weekend get away
This was our second stay with The Joule. We had another great experience. The staff was fantastic. Highly recommend The Joule.
