'It is a well maintained and managed old property. The Laurel doesn't have the amenities of modern hotels, but the location, the private balcony with an amazing view was worth the stay. The owner/operators are great folks.They were understaffed but the working staff were great, friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was very good. The waitstaff was friendly and attentive.'

'Rating: 2.5–3 stars This property sits in an absolutely beautiful location with stunning views of the lake and the hills to the west. The sunsets are truly incredible, and the overall atmosphere is quiet and peaceful. The front yard has a lot of charm and potential, though the grass was noticeably overgrown during my stay. The experience itself was unusual. I was greeted briefly by someone who handed me the key, but after that I didn’t see a single staff member, and there’s no real reception...
