The hotel is super comfortable and safe, overall everything was great except one thing but it’s not a major issue which is the A/C doesn’t have a heater and it was so cold but they provided me with extra blankets, it was a cold stay, other than that everything was fine

Great location where the Nile river meets the Mediterranean Sea. Room 2029 2 double beds is excellent it’s near elevators and has a balcony where you can sea both the Nile and the Mediterranean. Breakfast buffet is loaded and chefs where helpful. Fast service over all. Room and premises are clean. It’s the best hotel in Damietta and serves local tourists mainly.

The location is nice as you get a beautiful view of the Nile river and Med sea.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
The rooms already feel a bit outdated as the hotel has been open for a few years now.

Loved every minute of it
Great location and friendly staff. The only downside is that they pot incense in the reception and the smell is annoying for people with breathing problems. We asked them to remove it but the reception couldn’t do it.

My recommendation is to avoid The Fanar Roof Restaurant at the Steigenberger Hotel El Lessan since it is overpriced and you pay a high price for very low quality and quantity food.
shrimp fatah (rice and a few little shrimp in a dish) salmon askot (less than 200 g)
one seafood soup ( very big dish plate that contains few shrimp and squid in a soup to mislead the customers ) = total cost is approximately 1000 Egyptian pound
We asked the manager to cancel the order he kept pushing us to stay and he promised to handle the situation but nothing happened and the dish was just reshaped to look better and we was embarrassed and had to eat it.
DON’T EAT IN HOTEL ROOF RESTAURANT. but the hotel it self deserve 5 stars

Awesome stay
Great stay. The staff at the hotel are very friendly and professional and the breakfast includes all types of food. The view from the room is amazing and the private beach of the hotel is swimmable. Seafood around the area is out of this world; fresh, tasty and qt great prices.

The location is great, the breakfast is very well served. Also, Sameh from front desk was very helpful, I would really like to thank him for all his efforts changing the room view just to make us happy. The chief of the seafood restaurant was great, the shrimp fata was extraordinary.
