De kamer met keukenfaciliteit was prima, wel wat functioneel ingericht. De badkamer is krap en klein. We hadden meer verwacht van de restaurantopties. Ook een gebrek aan ontbijt was voor ons wennen. Maar daar het je de extra kamer met keukentje voor. De plek is heerlijk rustig!

Beautiful setting
We had a fantastic stay - beautiful setting, comfortable rooms. We made out way easily enough to the Christmas Market - we were able to catch the local bus service. It is a great shame breakfast is not provided as it is a little off the beaten track.

This was a very pleasant stay, was very quiet and tucked away in the woods. Our room was very spacious and clean. Had a refrigerator and microwave, plus options to make coffee and tea. There was a restaurant as well, which was nice. Although after the restaurant closes, there didn’t appear to be any staff in the building so if you need anything be sure to get it during the day. However the staff were extremely accommodating when we did ask for things like extra pillows and coffee. Overall, we loved the hotel and area around it. Be sure to leave yourself some time to walk the trails surrounding the property, its beautiful and a nice release from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Nice experience
Charming castle located less than 10km from the Bruges old town. Surprisingly getting to Bruges was complicated as not much of Ubers or Taxis available nearby. Suggesting to rent a car to drive around. Stayed two nights and no cleaning was provided, which was odd. Remote control didn’t work. The room was good though, great furniture. No breakfast buffet. Dinner was great though, definately value for money. It was lovely to stay on the terrance and enjoy some Belgian beers (very cheap!). Recommending the place but I hope that cleaning services and breakfast could be included in the rate. Also helping guests with Taxi etc traffic access could give a nice touch especially for people who are not that experienced / familiar with travelling.

Lovely Castle
A beautifull castle set in the forest by a river and lake. Dog friendly, delicious food and reasonable price.
