Loop naar Monarch Beach (Salt Creek Beach) langs een afgelegen pad zonder verkeer langs de golfbaan totdat je het geïsoleerde Salt Creek Beach bereikt. Je zult het gevoel hebben dat je dit pittoreske strand bijna voor jezelf hebt. De wandeling naar het strand is ongeveer een mijl en duurt 20 minuten.

Gelegen naast twee van de enige vijfsterrenhotels en resorts in Californië, St. Regis Dana Point. Twee andere vijfsterrenresorts, The Ritz Carlton en Montage in Laguna Beach, liggen in de buurt.

In het prachtige luxe Dana Point / Monarch Beach-gebied van Orange County. Dana Point ligt aan de Pacific Coast Highway, halverwege tussen Los Angeles en San Diego. Dit is een gated community en heeft uw eigen parkeerplaats. Er zijn korte trappen te beklimmen bij het betreden van dit topniveau 1.150 vierkante voet single-verhaal airconditioning appartement. Dit ontspannende en smaakvol ingerichte condominium is perfect voor twee koppels of een gezin op zoek naar een strandvakantie.

Loop de ruime woonkamer in, volledig uitgerust met een 42-inch plasma-tv en dvd-speler. Elk van de twee slaapkamers is ook uitgerust met een flatscreen-tv en dvd-speler. Geniet van ontbijt, lunch of diner in de aparte eetkamer of gebruik de bar-b-q grill en ontspan aan de terrastafel op het balkon.

De keuken is volledig uitgerust met vaatwasser, magnetron, broodrooster, mixer, koffiezetapparaat en al uw kookbehoeften. De slaapkamer heeft een queensize bed en tv met uw eigen badkamer. De tweede kamer heeft 2 queensize bedden en een flatscreen-tv. Het appartement heeft ook een eigen wasruimte met wasmachine en droger.

The place was very well equipped. But it was rather sad looking and could use some sprucing up. Too many throw rugs as potential trip hazards. The sheets were super worn and appeared very old . I thought it had a slight smell of old cigarettes which I’m very sensitive to. But at least you could walk to many places so the location was good

It felt like almost everything in the condo was held together with "chewing gum or duct tape" or didn't quite work the way it should. This includes:*Peeling floor in the master bathroom*Peeling paint in the guest bathroom*Bar height table in the kitchen with 4 stools. But 2 of the stools were counter height, making me feel like I was 8 years old if I sat at them*No overhead lighting - the condo was very dark*Lighting provided by floor lamps, but almost all of the electrical outlets were loose which meant that the lamps had to plugged in "just right" to work. *Pillows were dirty*Rugs covering holes in the floor and bare spots in the floor-to-floor carpets*One toilet was very temperantal and required two visits by a plumber. The other toilet worked just fine.*One time the dishwasher started even though it wasn't locked closed*The kitchen sink faucet was stuck in one position - difficult to use with a divided sink.It does have a great location with easy access (walking or by car) to Monarch Beach.

The lower hot tub (shown in the property pictures) was the star of the stay! The peace and quiet and view of the ocean are worth the visit. Great location and Jason was very nice, accommodating, and responded promptly. The condo is well stocked with all the beach gear and kitchen equipment that you need.

Great location!!! Walk to nearby beaches and 5 Star resorts or relax, swim and soak in the hot tubs right on property. Jason was a wonderful host…we will definitely return next year.

This condo is kind of 'dated' but it is comfy, cosy and spacious and just a 20 minute walk down to the beach. Has a nice deck. San Clemente, San Juan Capistrano and Laguna Beach are just minutes away by car. The condo is quiet - didn't hear our neighbors.

I gave it 5 stars because the owner was very quick to respond to one issue, also since this place was a bit more affordable than others, some quirks were to be expected. The main cons are road noise, fully carpeted, and the walk to the beach isn't as short as I had hoped. It's more for scenery and exercise. If you want to go to the beach and being chairs, etc, you should drive. Was a good stay overall.

The property was the best equipped that we have stayed in. It had all the kitchen equipment we would need, including a kettle for an English cup of tea! There were beach towels, cool box, beach chairs, board games - everything. The location is beautiful. The walk to the beach through the golf course is really pretty and the beach cafe was great. It was a short drive to the theme parks and if you fancy something a little different then I can highly recommend Caspars Wilderness park a short drive away. It had a range of trails and excellent nature centre, which entertained the kids, plus a play park.

Property was as described in listing. The location was great. From the condo you can walk to a small market and deli, brewery and a couple of really good restaurants. I went for a job from the condo along bike path that leads right to Salt Creek beach. The property was very clean. I liked the patio. Close to everything in Dana Point and short drive to Laguna Beach. I felt this place has great value for the money. I will definitely stay again when returning to visit family.

The location is great. The host is responsive. The kitchen, bathroom and beach supplies are well stocked. It is 10 minutes to the harbor where there are great restaurants and walking paths. The walk to the beach is beautiful but it an uphill climb coming home. Loved the pool and fitness room. Gave the condo a 4 out of 5 overall because it needs a little TLC.

This place has everything you need. We have stayed here a couple times in the past and it is our go to when heading to Cali. Jason does an awesome job maintaining the property and communicating with the guests if we ever need anything.

We have actually stayed here more than once! We love it that much! We love the location! There is the most beautiful walk to the beach along the golf course! The place is well stocked with beach chairs, body boards, a grill on the deck, and comfy beds. Thank you for sharing this place with us.

We had a great time visiting Dana Point California and wanted to stay in the same complex that my brother lives in. I looked at MANY 2 bedroom units and ultimately went with this unit due to how well it was appointed: King in master, 2 Queens in secondary bedroom, large table and chairs, plenty of seating in living room, TV’s in every room, a kitchen with all kinds of essentials to prepare and eat meals, and also the beach chairs/towels were nice to utilize. The price per night was good for our family and the community was very friendly. Would definitely stay here again!

Reservation process was easy. Welcome email with instructions from the host was very clear and helpful! Condo was clean and welcoming upon arrival. Host provided plenty of supplies and extras like beach chairs, toys and beach towels for us to use which was great! The space could use some minor fixes as all homes do over time. The fixes would improve overall guest experience but we had a great stay and hope to be able to stay here again in the future!

The location is great, the space is nice. The pool is a quick walk & the beach is a short drive. There are a few things that hopefully the hot will fix or address soon. One being the one of the toilets does not have a lid, which is just weird & not conducive to families with kids. Also, the power outlets are bad, they are so worn out that things (ie phones, watches, tablets) don't stay plugged in, to get them to charge we had to share an outlet with the floor lamp which is the only light in the dining space. All in all the place is good for what you need but the bathroom & outlet situation really left us pretty frustrated.
