The rooms are very clean and spacious and the rooms and hallways smell good! No smoky stink smell like other hotels that I’ve been to! I was very happy with my stay. After settling in my room, I noticed the TV would not power on. I contacted the front desk and the woman came to my room with 3 remotes. Eventually she required an alternate. She went above and beyond to ensure I had a working TV. I appreciated that effort. Id recommend this location. '

'The Golden Hill Inn is on a little hill, so the entrance and exit driveways are steep. Which is actually pretty cool! It overlooks a part of town, and there is a convenient store literally right across the street, which is great... but also it has a feeling like the Inn is a separate place, elevated and off by itself. The room was standard, modern, and clean. The staff was kind and helpful.'

'The property is beautiful in the summer - outside tables and chairs to enjoy the gardens; the pool is clean and well-lit in the evening. Rooms were spacious, clean with good appliances and very comfortable beds. While you can tell the property is older, the renovations have been very nicely done on the whole. We'll be back!'

But the property is experiencing some deferred maintenance - toilet seat was deteriorating, the gym equipment was old, window was missing a screen - and there's not really anything around. It has a restaurant and that's great, but nothing else. That said, it's a great price/value for the area and I would likely stay again should the need arise.'
