Vind uw rustige plek in ons rustige meertje thuis! Big Swan is een 694-acre meer dat licht is ontwikkeld en een harde, zandige bodem heeft waardoor het geweldig is om te waden en zwemmen. Het staat bekend om het hele jaar door geweldig vissen, vooral snoekbaarzen, en heeft weinig meer verkeer. Het dek geeft u een ontspannende plek om van uw ochtendkoffie te genieten, en onze met bomen omzoomde kavel geeft u privacy met ruimte voor spelletjes op het gazon en kampvuren met een panoramisch uitzicht op de zonsondergang bij het meer. Op loopafstand zijn schilderachtige bossen en moerassen (State Wildlife Mgmt-landen) waar allerlei soorten dieren in het wild leven.

Ons hoogste niveau verwelkomt veel natuurlijk licht in de ruime grote open kamer met groot concept, met een grote schuifpui toegang tot het dek. Je kunt grillen net buiten de achterdeur (houtskool- of gasgrills) en de kampvuurkuil ligt op een steenworp afstand. Er zijn ook 2 slaapkamers en een bad op de bovenverdieping. De aangebouwde garage / speelkamer is gemakkelijk toegankelijk vanuit de woonkamer, met full-size ping pong en air hockey tafels, grasveldspellen, tafels en stoelen. Het is temperatuurgestuurd met opties voor AC in de zomer en warmte in de winter.

Er is een dvd-collectie om te bladeren met flatscreens op zowel het hoofdniveau als de kelder (of RedBox-locaties in de buurt). De gemeenschappelijke ruimte in de kelder verwelkomt zowel kinderen, tieners als volwassenen om "sleepover plezier" te hebben op 3 stapelbedden en een futonbank. De andere twee slaapkamers, een complete badkamer en bijkeuken bevinden zich in de hal.

Let op: parkeren bij ons is beperkt; de oprit biedt plaats aan 4-5 voertuigen, afhankelijk van de grootte. Parkeren op straat is niet toegestaan (weg heeft geen schouders). * De Public Lake Access ligt aan de noordkant van het meer en heeft een betonnen oprit, parkeergelegenheid en een zand- / strandgebied.

** Er is een dok bij het huis, maar momenteel geen bootlift. Breng een anker mee voor alle waterscooters die u 's nachts bij de kust voor anker brengt.

This place was an awesome place that had everything that our bachelor party wanted and needed. We didn't have to leave the house one time except for to go find a volleyball court. The entertainment room was spot on for what everybody was looking for. We had 10 adults and all of us were able to have a bed. The kitchen was fully equipped and the grill was nice to have. The house was nicely cleaned and we did not hear a peep from The Neighbors besides your normal day-to-day interactions. We're totally recommend if you're looking for a nice getaway from today's society and cell phones.

We had a great stay. The house was comfortable. The game room was a major hit with our group since we did have some rainy weather. Plenty of chairs so no need to bring your own lawn chair. Rachel and Reed were amazing and very quick to answer any questions we had.

Extremely quiet and relaxing area. The rental was packed with watercraft, game room equipment, toys - fun for all ages! Plenty of towels and blankets that made our stay comfortable. Nicely decorated home with a fully stocked kitchen. A great place to stay!

Great House!

The house was just perfect for our family of 13. The kids loved the basement family room/sleep area. The garage was an excellent area for jigsaw puzzles and the fire pit outside the house was so convenient. The layout allowed us to all be in the same space to share meals and/or games. We all loved the house!Downside:The internet and data access were horrible. It's great if you want to unplug but don't plan on working if you need to be online. Rachel had warned us that the lake was overflowing due to the recent excessive rains, so we understood it was out of their control. But the kids swam anyway and had fun thanks to a lily pad that had seen better days. The steps, while sturdy, are very steep and may not be suitable for everyone.

Nice spot for a family Christmas

We love this lake home, which includes a game room in the garage and large amount of space for the little kids to separate and have fun. Lots of games and toys for every age. Fishing was good right in front of this place which was a plus. Well stocked kitchen with all cooking devices one would need. Very receptive and good host. They do charge a fee over 8 but you know what that is before you book. Great experience overall would recommend anyone looking for a good getaway cabin for multiple families. House was clean and well maintained .

This was such a fabulous getaway for the family. The game room was perfection for the teenagers to escape and we loved the views. The sgairs were too much for our elderly parents, but the landing made a perfect view point for them to watch kids play.

Perfect large family vacation

Absolutely wonderful spot on the lake for an extended family vacation over Labor Day weekend! Plenty of space for all and with all the water toys and amenities you could ask for! We had such a wonderful time hanging out by the dock, kids playing on the lilypad, kayaking, paddleboarding, peddleboating, tubing and water skiing! Playing yard games on the large lawn, sharing stories and memories around the campfire and playing games in the living room. The kitchen was well stocked for large group meals with a bonus fridge in the garage/games room, where the kids thoroughly enjoyed waking their older cousins by playing air hockey at ungodly hours of the morning! ;) The hosts Reed and Rachel were fantastic to communicate with and very accommodating with the check-in and check-out process. Would definitely stay here again! It may become an annual family reunion spot.

Great place for family and friends

Lots of kid toys for the yard, which is fenced in so great for little ones to play. Perfect lounge space and firepit. We had fun playing ping ping and airhockey too! The water was high due to all the rain so understandably wasn’t much of a beach but there’s a swim pad that a bunch of people can sit on and paddleboard so we just hung out with those!

We all had fun the house this past week. Although, we were very disappointed in the fact that the beach was so overgrown w/ weeds that we could not even attempt to walk on it. The beach pics posted on the VRBO site must be at least 3-5 years old.

Family time

We enjoyed our stay. The house was just as expected, clean and plenty of space for the whole family. Kids liked the bunk room and adults had their privacy. Beds and bedding were comfortable. The weather wasn't the best when we were there and due to all the rain the mosquitos were very bad, so we didn't spend much time in the outdoor space.(not the owners fault) The breeze came up on Sat evening so we were able to have a fire, which is important to our family. We found a great city park in Litchfield. It had a splash pad, beach, and great playground. Maybe they spray for mosquitos because the bugs were not bad there. Our family really enjoyed the game room at the house! It was great that some could stay up late and play cards while others slept. I gave a four stars on the cleanliness because the outdoor toys were not clean and ready to use. In the end it didn't matter to us, just a comment. Great memories were made. Good place to stay!

This lake home had the best space for our family get together. There was plenty of activities to enjoy, even when weather wasn’t cooperating. The sleeping spaces were plentiful and very comfortable. It was an overall perfect set up and beautiful place!

Our family of 17 ages 1 to 70 had a relaxing and enjoyable stay. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, yard games, camp fire, and the game room. There was enough room for everyone to sleep and spread out throughout our stay.

Great Space for a Large Group

This house was perfect for our group of 9 ranging from 11 to 67 years old. We traveled to Minnesota from Colorado for a family funeral, and having ample room for all of us to stay together made those two days a little easier. Check-in was super easy and Rachel graciously let us check in early. The house had plenty of space for our group to spread out, eat meals, play games, etc. The 4 queen bedrooms and bunk area with double/twin bunks provided enough beds for everyone to sleep comfortably, though the two basement queen rooms were quite cold according to the two who slept in them. One slightly awkward moment was when Rachel asked how many beds needed to be made up. Since it sleeps 17, I totally understand only making the beds that will actually be used. However, not knowing exactly how we'd all configure for sleeping, it was hard to specify how many singles/shared beds, etc. Maybe numbering or lettering the beds in the photos would help future guests easily communicate their needed bed setup. Overall, the spacious house with a fun game room was exactly what our family group needed. The amenities were as advertised. I'd recommend this property to any large family or group looking for a comfortable place to stay together! Thank you, Rachel!

Family gathering

My son and family flew in from North Carolina to spend a "Christmas" weekend with myself, his brother and sister and their families. We haven't seen him for about 6 years so this was a great time by all. The home accommodated all of us for 2 night stay. The game room in the garage was awesome for the kiddos and adults. My whole family was impressed with the roominess and the sleeping area. We even had a visit from my son's 1st cousin that they hadn't seen each other for over 10+ years. The ice fishing was good also - caught 2 walleye but one got away. It was the 1st time my grandson ice fished. Also the owners left the holiday decor up to feel like Christmas - They also responded quickly if we had any questions, Thank you Rachel and Reed for the use of your home --

Christmas Fun for the Family!

The owners are good at communicating and very helpful. They assisted in getting a local Santa for our Christmas celebration for the grandkids, which was an AMAZING experience for the kids!!! The game room was great fun for all ages!! Biggest water heater I've ever seen. It rained, and in late December, that was odd, but we still had fun on the ice and campfire & s'mores. towels were a bit thin and be sure to bring our own plates/soup bowls. We would definitely stay here again... nice place and location.

Family Christmas

We found the house to be very clean. Communication with the owner was easy. We didn’t use anything outside. The game room was a bonus for the kids, they really enjoyed. Would stay again.

Girls weekend

It was a great place to stay for a girls weekend. Plenty of space with plenty of beds. The extra garage space with the games was used a lot.

Great Family Weekend Getaway

We came here for a family weekend and had the best time! The property was very clean, and there were so many activities for both children and adults, from kayaking to ping pong to making S’mores around a fire pit. We were never bored and it was the perfect space for us all to be together and make memories.
