'The Holiday Inn Express at Charlottesville is a wonderful hotel. The staff are helpful and friendly. Whenever I needed something whether it was a towel or a laundry bag, the staff promptly responded to my requests. When our stay ended, the front desk person was very friendly, wishing us safe travels home. The food is very good. The pork sausages were tasty, and the fried eggs were cooked to perfection. 'Our stay at the Omni was excellent! The room was beautiful and very clean. The beds were comfortable and the temperature was easily adjustable. We loved both indoor and outdoor pool as well as the atrium bar and restaurant! The outside space is great and offers a break from your room. The location truly cannot be beat. We walked around the Downtown Mall multiple days to shop and eat. Monticello was a ten minutes drive and UVA is a 5 minute drive. I highly recommend and will be stay each time we...

'It’s a no frills hotel. Great value for the price. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. It’s very clean and the included breakfast was delicious! We did encounter some issues and the staff tried their very best to resolve.'

'I had no idea that this hotel had almost no staff onsite. The check in/out is virtual and doesn’t even work correctly. If a really helpful maid hadn’t been there I don’t know how I would have gotten into my room. The place is very clean but totally rundown. The door to the patio off of my room didn’t even have a working lock. Someone could have easily climbed a wall and walked right into my room. I would not stay here agin.'

'Everything was clean, and there was a verity of food for breakfast, it was a quiet room, but the comforter we had did not have cover and when we tried to call the phone was broken. Also the parking was a little expensive. But over all it was a nice visit though.'

'There was plenty of available parking in the garage. The Bistro food was great. My only negative is the Bistro closed early. Staff was nice.'

'The Oakhurst in was definitely not up to my standards BUT the staff tried everything to make things more comfortable. Unfortunately the Inn was working off of a generator and couldn’t keep up with the heat outside. My biggest issue however was the fruit flies. They were everywhere and it really bothered me. Jake - night person in the lobby was my hero after AC shut down for the 3rd time and I decided to leave in the middle of the night.'
