'BED BUGS. Do not stay here.
Woke up with bite welts covering both arms. Found and photographed two insects on the sheets as well as blood stains on the lamp shade and cigarette burns in the sheets.
I requested a refund through Expedia the property claimed no record of complaints despite my photos. Expedia offered $25 compensation for a $147 stay.
Avoid this property.'

'Great historic hotel right on the river bank. The room was nice with a good size bathroom. The bed was a bit soft for our taste, but otherwise comfortable. There is not really a lot of shelve space, so if you're not travelling light, you might struggle to unpack. Every room has a nice terras. The pool is clean, but unheated. Breakfast is at The Mermaid Cafe, 2 door down from the hotel, and it can get very busy there later in the morning. Come early if you want a guaranteed table. Coffee and tea...

'We had no idea what we were getting, as we booked on the way and didn't arrive until after dark. We were very pleasantly surprised by our spacious, clean room, and the next morning to see we were right on the beach in a beautiful setting with a lovely large pool. We booked another night!'
