Weekendje Dazhou Island

'My stay at this hotel was very disappointing and far below the standards expected of a five-star property. I arrived at around 1:00 PM and fully understood that my room might not be ready before the official check-in time. However, the attitude of the front desk staff was extremely poor. They were unfriendly, impatient, and made me feel unwelcome. I also ordered food delivery during my stay. The front desk informed me that it would take about 30 minutes for the food to be brought to my room....

'The hotel appears to be still under construction. Despite its seaside location, it lacks a true resort atmosphere. Furthermore, both the service quality and room cleanliness require significant improvement.'

'Beautiful property but seems to be catering very much to influencers. Food was not great but options are nearby outside of the resort. Staff were great. The pools need more shade. During most of the day the pools are barely usable due to the hot sun and the lagoon pool closes at 7 with the shadiest part of the lagoon pools being closed all the time during our visit due to no lifeguard being present.'
